Be Alone

I had originally written chapters that ended the drama quickly, but I like the drama and think it's gonna help everyone grow as this starts to end.

So I still have those chapters saved, gonna edit them and post them once they fit in.

For now enjoy this bit of drama.

Your POV:

It was our last full day before we went our separate ways.

Julie was sad because I wasn't gonna be in Chicago anymore.

"I don't wanna let go!" She hugged me.

"JJ. We still have the whole day." I said. 

"I know but still!"

"Can we go eat now?" Alyssa asked. "I'm ready to leave without you."

"I'm ready," I said and pointed to JJ. "she isn't."

"Where are you off too?" Christen walked over.

Alyssa and JJ looked at her.

"Oh, I forgot. Christen is with us now. She just sat with Tobin cause that was Christen does. And it was at that moment Christen realized, she fucked up."

"Accurate." Christen nodded.

"Chris!" Tobin yelled. "What are you doing?"

"What are YOU doing?" Christen responded.

Kelley looked at me. She kept looking down to my phone that was in my hand. 

I looked at it.

I love you and miss you

I scoffed. Christen looked over my shoulder.

"If she missed you that much she'd walk over here." She said. "She's acting like you two are in different countries." 

"Everyone!" Jill walked in. "Our last full day together. A couple of things, first enjoy this last day together, and second best of luck in preseason. Stay focused, give it your all, don't get hurt. Good. Ok." She walked away.

"Coach of the year." JJ said. 

I looked at Kelley again and then we left.

"Oh shit. I forgot my wallet." I said. 

"We'll wait." Alyssa said.

I walked back into the lobby to head up to grab it. 

"Look. One night out, meet some new people and realize that you can do better than Y/N! Don't tie yourself down to that, Kel." I heard Allie.

I waited for Kelley's response.

"One. Night." Allie said. "Us girls."

"Sure. Girls night out." Kelley said.

"No. Say the full line. Girls night out. Meet someone new. Come on. Say it."

"Girls night out." 

"And?"

I waited again. Kelley took a while.

"Meet someone new."  

"That's my girl! There is more out there than the world cup failure."

I heard them walk away. 

My phone rang. "What's taking so long?" JJ asked.

"You guys go ahead. I'm not feeling too good right now."

"I'll come up and stay with you."

"No, it's fine JJ. I want to be alone, right now." I said.

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

"Ok text me if you need anything." She said. I hung up and went to my room. 

I looked at the ring.
