80th minute. Abby came in for Megan.

We were starting to look good. We're close to the final.

"Come on girls!" Fans screamed.

Abby had the ball. She passed it back to Kling, she had Carli in the box. Carli got it.

The flew across goal. Kelley jumped and got a foot on it.

"Oh my god!" Karen stood up.

It went it!

Her parents hugged. Jerry stood in shock, with his girlfriend. Erin looked at me.

"THAT JUST HAPPENED!"

"IT JUST HAPPENED!"

Kelley jumped into Carli's arms. Not only were we now up 2-0, that was Kelley's first international goal.

In stoppage time, well the end of stoppage time, Sydney got subbed in for Alex.

Finally the final whistle was blown. We were going to Vancouver!

We watched the bench clear and crowd around Kelley. "I approve." My dad said.

"What?"

"I approve."

"We aren't together."

"I know but I can tell there's something between you two. You were more excited about her goal than Carli's. You were born excited about her entering the game than Abby. I can read you like a book, Y/N. You like that girl, and she likes you too." He took a sip of his beer.

After the stadium cleared we made our way to see the team. "You coming with us?" Erin asked.

I thought of what Abby would say. "Nah. You guys go." I said. "I've got a bit of a headache."

"Oh. Ok." She said. "See you tomorrow." They left.

"Why aren't you going?" My dad asked.

"She has her family." I walked away.

Kelley's POV:

"Kelley!" I saw my family. I ran towards them. "We are so proud of you!" My mom said.

"Way to go Kel." Erin said. I hugged my dad.

"You were great out there."

"Everyone!" Abby said. We all looked. "I am proud of these 23 girls. The tournament started a little bumpy but we worked through it and are now heading to the championship game. Kelley, we are all so happy and proud of you today. You never gave up and were rewarding in the biggest way today. Helping us get closer to the trophy. It's gonna take all 23 of us. We aren't done till that trophy is in our hands."

"Let's finish our job." Carli added.
