Your POV:

Day before game day. There was on knock on the door. "Y/N. Door." JJ said.

"You're closer to the door than me." She looked at me.

"Y/N. Door."

"JJ. Suck a-" The person knocked again. I sighed and got up. "Who are you and what the fuck do you want?" I said opening it.

"I am your girlfriend and I want food." Kelley said finishing with a smile.

"Ok?"

"Ok? Bitch come get lunch with me!"

"Did you just call your girlfriend bitch?"

"Did you really make her answer the door even though your bed is RIGHT here?"

"Fight me O'Hara." Kelley walked into the room. "I WAS KIDDING! I WAS KIDDING!"

We went and got lunch. "She's actually scared of you."

"She was just comfortable on her bed and didn't want to be moved." Kelley said.

"So she isn't scared of you?"

"Ok I didn't say that." She said stopping. I kept walking and she pulled my hand. "I didn't say she isn't scared of me. I'm a very scary, intimidating person."

I poked her cheek. "You're a cute, freckled, child."

"A scary, intimidating, cute, freckled child." She said when she started walking again.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night."

"You know what helps me sleep at night?" I looked at her. "Knowing I can wake up and see you."

"You're so cute. Not intimidating or scary at all. Leave that to Hope and Carli, babe."

"Anyway." She said. "My birthday surprise involving food? When's that?"

"After the game." I said. "Are you seriously only in it for the food?"

"Food is a bonus. Also cause you're hot and I love you." She smiled.

"You're a dork."

"Thanks."

We ate lunch and headed back.

Everyone relaxed for a while then we had a team meeting. "Line up. Hope in goal."

"Duh." Crystal said.

"Krieger, Becky, Whitney and" She looked at her notebook. "Kelley. You are our back four." Kelley smiled. I squeezed her hand. "Morgan, Carli, Heather, and Y/N. Christen and Crystal." She finished. "I'm resting most of you but I expect everyone who isn't starting to be ready no matter what. This is the last game of the group. Finish up strong."

We wrapped up the meeting and ate dinner. "This game is about to be lit." Crystal said. "My strike buddy." She looked at Christen.

"Right side strong side!" Krieger smiled.

"Irish soul sisters."

"MORGAN!" Moe smiled. We all looked at her. Julie patted her head.

"Excuse her, she just wanted to feel included."
