Today was the day you were transferring to Shujin. Many people would have jumped at the chance to be at such a prestigious school, but ever since the chaos that unfolded when it was revealed that the gym teacher had abused students, there was a lot of talk surrounding the school. Due to this, it was in a bad light at the moment.
You were a little scared. If someone like that used to work there with no problems, maybe there's more horrible teachers there...
There was no time to dwell on your worried thoughts, as your feet took took you to the gates of the school. You were told to go to the guidance office to be told where your class was, so you supposed you should head there first.
... You were planning to, but where even was it?!
You started to grow overly conscious of the time passing. 'What if I'm late on the first day? I'll get stared at, and the teacher will get mad, and-'
Your anxious thoughts were cut off as you collided into something, or someone. Looking up, you were met with a pair of eyes staring back at you, black framed glasses covering them.
You felt like you were frozen, just staring into those eyes. Then you forgot that your hands were still in his chest. Immediately, you sprung back, apologising profusely.
"S-Sorry, I wasn't paying attention!"
There was a deep chuckle in return. "No harm done."
With a wave and smile, he walked past you. Watching him go by, you could see a cat in bag, staring at you with bright blue eyes.
'I suppose this is what Shujin is like...' You thought with awe. 'Wait! I still need to find out where my classroom is!'
Panicking slightly, you rushed around the first floor in search of your destination before the bell rung.

Thankfully someone on the student council saw your panic, and kindly showed you were the guidance office was. You arrived just in time, your homeroom teacher Ms. Kawakami looking tiredly at you.
"Another transfer, huh? Well you probably know the drill. Just introduce yourself and I'll tell you where to sit." She said, scratching the back of her head.
You nodded, showing you understood. With that, the two of you metered the classroom. It was loud with the sound of chattering students.
"Alright, settle down! We have a transfer student, so be polite. Introduce yourself."
Ms. Kawakami gestured towards you, and you bowed slightly.
"M-My name Y/n L/n, um... It's nice to meet you all!" Your voice was slightly In quiet, but you managed to get the message across.
Your tired teacher looked over the classroom, searching for a seat for you to sit in. "Hmm, the seat at the back there is free, go take that one."
Nodding, you walked over to where Ms. Kawakami pointed. The seat was placed at the very back, diagonal to a boy with a mop of black messy hair. As you were walking, something black and white caught your eye. It almost looked like a cat's tail.
As you sat down, you almost laughed at yourself. 'A cat in class? There's no way, I mean I saw a cat earlier, but...'
The tail flickered, and you saw a familiar pair of bright blue eyes staring in your direction, a yellow collar around its neck. So it was the same cat. That meant...
Your eyes traveled upwards, and you almost gasped in surprise. The same boy from earlier you had bumped into was looking at you. Once you locked eyes, he smiled as if you didn't just catch him staring and faced the front of the room again.
