A sigh left your mouth. It was the second day during the Hawaii trip, however you weren't having too much fun. The school's organisation skills were poor, so some third years had to come along as chaperones, but yours weren't much better. Even though you were lucky to come on this trip, you didn't know what to do with yourself or how to spend your time.
Some people in your group of friends agreed, namely Ryuji. You had hoped this trip would take your mind of things, but with seemingly naught to do, it only increased the number of your over active thoughts.
You had already walked around a bit with the test of the group, and taken some pictures. You couldn't roam too much either, since you might not be able to make it in time for curfew. You glanced out the large window of your shared hotel room, the beach being the first thing you saw.
After staring at it for a while, you got up.

Although the heat felt stifling at first in even your summer uniform, you felt much better in your swimsuit. The sun's rays shone on the golden sand and reflected off the crystal ocean not too far off. Of course withs icy favourable weather, a lot of other people were at the beach as well.
You had expected that. You weren't expecting to meet him outside again though...
"Ah, Y/n." He greeted casually. You tried to hide your surprise.
"Oh, Yusuke." You responded. "I didn't think you'd be..."
His head was tilted slightly as he spoke. "At the beach? Our last trip was far too busy to find a painting spot, but here is most sufficient."
You nodded with a smile, that made sense. When you all made friends with Futaba and went to the beach, it very crowded. You felt a lot more relaxed here.
"Oh. Have you started painting already?" You asked.
Yusuke sighed, his hoodie-covered arms wrapping across his mid-section as he sighed. "No, I have yet to see anything that demands to painted."
"Right..." You didn't know as much about art as Yusuke did, but you thought the beach would look nice painted... "Well, good luck with that."
"Thanks. And you?" He questioned.
"Hm?"
He unwrapped his arms and returned to his relaxed posture. "You came here alone. Were you seeking solitude yourself?"
"Um..." You trailed off, looking down as tried to word your thoughts correctly. "You could say that. I just needed to do something."
Yusuke nodded. "I see. Then would you like to accompany me?"
You raised your head up, caught off guard by his offer. "O-Oh, you wanted to hang out?"
He raised a hand to his chin, looking thoughtful as he spoke. "Yes, I could benefit from a different pair of eyes. Yours may be able to help where mine did not."
That definitely wasn't what you were expecting, then again this was Yusuke. You were honestly feeling a little honoured with his request. Although something told you that this was going to be quite exhausting...
Lost in your thoughts, it took a minute for you to realise you hadn't said anything. You felt your face go warm when you noticed Yusuke simply staring at you, patiently waiting for your answer.
"Uh, yeah! Sure, I don't mind." You responded finally. "I doubt I'll be much help though..."
"No, you'll do just fine. I trust your eye for beauty." He softly disagreed, already turning his head to survey the beach. You were fine with that, since he didn't see your face redden any more than it was.
