Ever since finding out, you couldn't help but be down for a while. You knew it was bound to happen at some point, but never as soon as this. You had many thoughts running through your head, mostly ones of heartache, as well as ones of frustration for not doing something sooner so the whole situation could have been avoided.

... A manga series you were planning to read went out of print.

You sighed at the thought. If only you just went ahead and bought it when it was available!

Nothing could be done now, you supposed. Just feeling sorry for yourself would be good for today, right? ... Actually, you've been doing it for more than a day. Who could blame you though?!

And so with the many manga-related sorrows swimming around your mind like a confused fish in a water tank, the lessons weren't exactly listened to attentively.

Your boyfriend watched you with a frown the whole time, his chin resting against his palm. You had simply been staring ahead the whole period, a dazed but doleful look in your eyes that even he could see from the short distance away from your seat.

It wasn't the first time he had seen you like this either, and when he asked if you wanted to go see a movie, or get lunch, or do anything, you'd politely say no. So what could be wrong?

He felt his body go cold for a moment despite his heart beginning to thud much quicker than before. He took another discreet glance at you.

You were looking down at your hand, twirling your pen mindlessly between your fingers. Feeling a stare on you, it caused your eyes to flicker over to meet Yosuke's. You only blinked at him quizzically, and he tried to smile in return.

"HEY! Stop flirting in my classroom. You kids these days. Why don't you answer this, huh?!" The teacher spat. No really, he did.

Yosuke was briefly wondering if the overbite helped with such talents such as spitting, but realised he should focus on remebering what this lesson was even about.

Unfortunately, he couldn't, and so he was embarrassed. It seemed as if his discreet glances weren't so discreet.

"I thought so. See, you brats don't listen to your elders for even a minute! Hooligans like you end up flippin' burgers and picking up trash! Just like-"

Now understanding he no longer had the reason to listen, Yosuke sighed. If your low mood really was because of what he thought it was, then... He didn't know what to do.

Chie showed up at your desk with a groan. "Ugh, that really dragged on. If only Yosuke wasn't so distracted. He made us all suffer!"

"Yes, it was quite irritating to listen to..." Yukiko added, her eyes downcast in her annoyance.

When you didn't answer, the short-haired girl bent down and peered at you. "Huh? Y/n-chan?"

"Hm?' You hummed, still not completely out of your daydream. One where all manga is still in stock...

Chie's eyebrows lowered, her expression one of concern. "Y'know, you've seemed out of it for a while now. Is something going on...?"

Yukiko nodded, looking worried as well. "We're always here to help, so just ask!"

"I-I'm fine, really. I'm just tired." You told them, trying to appear earnest. You knew the two of them were always so supportive, but you couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed. Being so upset about a manga might seemed childish to them, and you didn't want to look stupid.
