Yu Narukami x Fem!Reader (P4)

Although you had been dating Yu for a while now, you hadn't formally met his family. You had already met his group of friends at least, and they became yours as well, but you felt that it'd be nice to meet his family formally. 

You weren't sure how to bring it up though. Maybe he would be against it? Yu was fairly passive at times, but that didn't mean he was indecisive. If he did feel that way, he'd surely tell you, right...? 

You didn't have enough courage to ask, but as your boyfriend he knew when something was up. He tapped your shoulder a while after the last bell went and most students were getting ready to leave. You on the other hand hadn't left your seat, simply staring into space. 

Due to that, his light tap made you jump and face him. "O-oh, Yu. Sorry, what is it?"

His usual calm smile formed on his lips as he looked down at you. "Nothing. Are you busy today?"

You blinked. "Um, no... Why do you ask?"

"Want to stay over for dinner at my place?" He asked. 

His offer caught you off guard, and you almost couldn't give a steady reply "S-Sure! I mean, yes!"

Yu's grey eyes softened at your flustered response, and nodded. "That's good, then. Shall we go?"

With shaking legs from your excitement, you stood up from your chair. If you were going to his house, doesn't that automatically mean you'd meet his family?! You never said anything about it, but somehow he knew. 

'He really is perceptive of people, isn't he?'  You thought to yourself, unable to stop the smile on your face. 

Almost on instinct his hand went to interlock with yours, the warmth from his palms transferring to your body. That same warmth seemed to reach up to your cheeks as he gazed at you. It felt like the two of you were the only people on the planet.

"Hey, you guys leaving already?" 

'Nevermind.'  Looking over, you were met with the knowing grin Yosuke had on his face, his arms crossed.

"Yeah. What about you?" Yu questioned. 

"I gotta go to Junes. But hey, you two have fun now." Yosuke replied teasingly, sending you both a wink.

Yu showed no sign of embarrassment from Yosuke's comment, but (un)luckily you had picked up the slack as your cheeks noticeably reddened. 

"It's not like that Yosuke!" Was your flustered reply. His grin only widened.

"Yeah, yeah. See you lovebirds tomorrow." With that, he hoisted his big over his shoulder and walked out of the classroom. You watched his dissapearing figure with a frown. 

Yu chuckled. "Well, he's not wrong." 

"I guess that's true..." You said quietly. It was still embarrassing for you though! 

After making your way downstairs to the shoe lockers and changing shoes, the two of you made your way to the Dojima Residence. The weather was nice, and the walk was quiet save for the noises of birds. Yu was silent as usual, but he listened to you attentively as you spoke. Whether it was about your breakfast or what new socks you bought, he was always interested in what you had to say, despite you feeling you had nothing much to talk about. 

Plus with your nerves, both excitement and anxiety, you had a tough time to organise your thoughts. Thankfully the walk was short, and soon enough you were at the front door of the small house.

Yu slid the door open, it making a noise as he did so. Immediately stepping inside a cheerful greeting was heard.

"Oh, welcome home Big bro!"
