The way your mood visibly worsened, it didn't go unnoticed by your close friends. At school you be preoccupied with work to focus on your thoughts, but whenever you have free time you couldn't help but just feel... Hollow. You didn't understand what had prompted it, or if it was due to anything in the first place.

Either way though, it was taking a toll on you mentally. Instead of spending time with your friends or even doing your hobbies like you usually did, you took to simply staying in your room. You just didn't feel like doing anything you usually enjoyed, and it was both frustrating and upsetting. At least you'd normally feel that way. Right now, you felt nothing.

Wanting to help no matter what, your friends set up a meeting. They were gathered at Le Blanc, preparing to go to your house not too far away.

"I suppose the isn't something that can't be fixed through changing hearts." Makoto sighed, a sorrowful expression on her face.

Akira nodded silently. Yusuke crossed his legs, seemingly restless.

"To have power but unable to use it, how frustrating..."

Noticing the drab aura covering the party like a dreary blanket, Ann slammed her palms on the table. "C'mon, we can do something! Let's just think it over."

"That's what we've been doin'." Ryuji grumbled with a sigh.

Ann's face softened at the reply. "Yeah, but... Ugh! I hate feeling like this!"

"Whatever we're feeling, for Y/n-kun it must be worse..." The fluffy-haired girl spoke up sadly.

The leader of the group had kept quiet, quietly turning over ideas in his mind. Although he was usually silent it didn't mean things went unnoticed by him, and the way Futaba frowning over her knees from her hunched position absolutley caught her attention.

She hadn't said anything, despite being the type to converse about complex topics such as hacking at a hundred miles per hour. Understandable, as she probably understood what their friend was feeling, bring that she went through something similar.

Ryuji ran his hand through his bleached hair with a groan. "Well sitting here ain't gonna do shit. Let's just go see him, yeah?"

Although their stomachs were in knots, everyone agreed with a nod. They were anxious to see how you really were, but you were their friend before anything else! How could they not help you?

A knock on your door snapped you out of your daze, one of the many that you've been having recently. Your voice was a little strained from not talking much, so you had to clear your throat before speaking.

"Come in..."

The door opened with a creak, revealing a set of dry familiar faces.

"Oh, hey guys. Um, what brings you here...?" You asked.

Ann smiled but it looked a little force as she was trying to mask the anxiety bubbling in her chest. "To see you! Right, guys?"

The group nodded. You could tell right away that they were worried, but that made you feel... Worse.

"Sorry." You said sadly. Anne recoiled in surprise.

"Huh?"

You scratched your cheek, switching your gaze from their faces to the floor. "Well I mean... It's my fault you're all worried, isn't it? Sorry."

The group exchanged looks.

"Well... It's true we're worried, but it isn't you're fault." Makoto responded to your apology with a frown.
