From the moment you woke up, you have been struggling to keep your eyes open. The reason why was unknown to you, all you knew was that you were finding it hard to stay awake.
However as lunch rolled around, you weren't feeling too great either. Despite the breeze in the air and cloudy sky, you were constantly feeling hot and fatigued. You weren't even feeling up to eating something, which was strange as you hadn't ate breakfast either.
You were currently in a daze, simply staring ahead as you tried to keep your eyes open. It was then that a pair of hands hit the table, startling you.
"Finally I can come see you properly!" Your girlfriend whined, but a smiled happily. "That felt like it went on forever."
You looked up to meet her face, but for some reason couldn't focus on it completely. "Oh, hi..."
Rise's smile dropped as she peered at you, eyebrows drawing together in concern. "Huh? What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I'm fine." You tried to convince her, getting up from your seat. Unfortunately your legs weren't as steady as you had expected, and you stumbled a bit.
Rise's arm shot out to hold onto you and right after she brought her face closer to yours. "Hey, are you really okay? Don't move too quick."
Seeing that it was becoming increasingly obvious you weren't, you sighed. "I don't know... I feel pretty bad though."
"Oh, you're definitely not okay then!" Rise frowned, wrapping her arms around your arm fully so you wouldn't stumble. "Come on, let's go get you some fresh air."
As much as you might've dislike being babied, you could let yourself relax now that you knew your girlfriend was safely guiding you. The journey upstairs to the roof felt longer due to your dragging feet, but also because of the stares you were getting. Although it mostly likely because Rise was there with you.
The door to the roof opened with a creaking noise, and immediately you felt the pleasant feeling of the wind on your flushed face. Rise and you say near the fence, watching the clouds go by.
Well, you tried to, but it was hard to focus. Rise turned to you, still looking worried. "Have you ate anything at all today?"
Finding it hard to think, your answer didn't come right away. "Um... No, I haven't."
Immediately her lips formed into a pout. "What? Do wonder you're not feeling well."
"I'm just not hungry." You explained, putting your hand over your face. It was begging to take effort just to keep your head up.
Rise's irritation that stemmed from concern faded away in place of worry once again, putting a gentle hand on your shoulder.
"Y/n?" She called, expression troubled.
Try as you might to form a sentence, you simply couldn't, and settled with mumbling something in response. You felt another of Rise's dainty hands rest on your other shoulder, and you were slowly being pulled back.
Although the movement was steady, you still found yourself feeling dizzy. It didn't last long however as Rise brought you down fully until your head was resting on her lap. You opened your eyes to try and give her a quizzical stare, but instead it came across as sleepy.
She smiled warmly. "You don't have to pretend you're fine if you're not, y'know."
You let it a content sigh. "... I know. I just thought it wouldn't be a big deal."
Rise chuckled knowingly. "That's how it starts! Please, just let yourself relax, okay?"
"But I have to-" you started, but Rise interrupted with a giggle.
"Ah, ah, ah! You're under the care of Rise Kujiakawa now!" She said with confidence, brushing your hair back. "Oh yeah, I should make you one my speciality meals too! You'll be up and at 'em in no time."
"Haha, ha... You really don't have to do that part." You declined lightly. "I do appreciate it though. You're always doing so much."
"Well, yeah... Of course I would." Rise's eyes softened as she looked into yours. "When I was 'Risette' people were always doing something for me. I want to do something to help for once... Especially for you."
Her words gave you a warm a feeling, much more welcome than the constant fever you had all day. Reaching up, you weakly held onto her hand.
"Thanks. I want to help you, too." You confessed.
Rise's face seemed to brighten as she gazed at you, and she laughed. It sounded a bit shy compared to before.
"You can by letting yourself rest, okay?" She stuck out a pinky finger. "Promise?"
You nodded, curling your own around hers. After doing so, she intertwined the rest of her fingers with hers.
"You should get some rest while you can." She suggested softly. "I'll wake you up."
Knowing your loving girlfriend was so close by, her hand locked with yours, it was easy for you to relax. Being that you were in need of sleep, it didn't take long for your eyes to close, allowing you to finally get some real sleep.

A/N: Requested by @BreakStick143 !
I've not been feeling very well, but it gave me this idea to write with at least. ^^
Sorry this is so short, I tried to make it fluffy so it'd a least be short and sweet. Hopefully it was enjoyable nonetheless.
