Minato Arisato x Fem!Reader (P3)

It had never occurred to you that Minato and you had never went on a date. With all the work S.E.E.S did as well as trying to balance school life and also Tartarus exploration, it just never came to mind. When you realised it, you found that you kind of... Wanted to go on one.

You weren't sure how he'd react though. Of course as the leader, he would be really busy, wouldn't he? Plus, you didn't want to bother him. However the more you thought about what a date with him would be like, the more you wanted it to be a reality.

With Koromaru looking at you quizzically from your feet, you waited somewhat patiently for your boyfriend's return. You sighed, trying to think of how to word it.

"I should stop being silly and just ask. That'd be fine, right?" You mumbled to yourself. "Or would he think I'm not taking things seriously?"

Koromaru whined in response. You leant back on the couch, your head against the soft cushions. 

'If the next person who comes in is Minato, then I'll do it! I definitely will!'

The door swung open, and you opened your eyes, glancing towards it with anticipation. Stepping inside was indeed Minato, and you weren't sure if your stomach was twisting from excitement or anxiety.

Before doing anything else, he stopped by the desk. Then he noticed your presence, walking towards you with his hands in his pockets.

"Hey." He greeted. 

You sat straight, smiling nervously. "Hi!" 

The look on his face remained calm, but his eyes showed slight confusion. "What is it?"

Hands flailing wildly in front of you, you shook your head almost as quick. "N-nothing, nothing!"

Minato's gaze rested on Koromaru, who barked. You were more than grateful that Aigis wasn't present.

Sticking with the promise you made to yourself, you took in a deep breath. "Um, there actually is something..."

His head tipped to the side, his dark blue hair falling with the movement and revealing his usually non-visible eye. 

"I... Do you..." You paused, squeezing your eyes shut. "Doyouwanttogoonadate?"

Minato stared at you calmly before blinking. "What?"

With your face feeling warm, you repeated it. "Do you want to go on a... Date?"

He said nothing, leading you to explain yourself. "It's just, we've never been on one so... It's fine if you don't want to! I know you're busy. I just thought it'd be nice to spend time together..."

Despite feeling nervous, you stole a glance, only to see him smile gently at you. 

"Okay. Is today fine?" He questioned. 

Taken aback by how easy it was, your response was delayed. "W-Wait, really? You want to?"

"Why wouldn't I want to spend time with my girlfriend?" He asked, as if it was obvious already. Just being referring to as his made your chest feel warm. 

Taking a hand out of his pocket, he held it out in front of you. Unable to contain the cheerful smile on your face, you beamed as you took it in yours. As the two of you left the dorm, Koromaru's tail wagged happily.

You were some excited at the very thought of a date, but now that you were actually on one, you were at a loss of what to do. Still, you were content walking around hand in hand with Minato. His expression didn't show it much, but he felt the same.
