Yosuke Hanamura x Introvert!Fem!Reader (P4)

Waving goodbye to your co-worker friends, you waited until they disappeared out of sight. Then, you sighed. It was especially busy today, with customers coming in and out quick. Your co-workers were all friendly too, even with how quiet you were in comparison. But you really yearned for some quiet time. 

And now you could! The rest of your day was free for laying in bed and binge watching that one series. You thought of visiting a store to pick up some snacks, when a voice broke your thoughts.

"Hey, all done?" Looking up, you met eyes with your boyfriend Yosuke.

"Ah, yeah."  You tried to straighten your posture to hide your exhaustion. "It was busier than usual today."

"I can tell, that summer job sure is working you hard." Yosuke said, smiling. "But I've got the thing to cheer you up! Our date's today, remember?"

"Y-Yeah, I do!" You did not.

You loved dates with Yosuke! But you were so tired, physically and mentally. Yosuke was looking at you so bright-eyed though, how could you turn that down? He was like a puppy in human form.

Yosuke watched your face carefully, and you smiled nervously.

"... I can tell when you're tired, y'know." A grin broke out on his face. You avoided his eyes.

"Well-" You started, but he cupped your cheeks, cutting you off.

"No point hiding it!" Yosuke said. "We don't have to go out somewhere then, we can hangout at your place. You can recharge all you want."

As he winked at you, you blushed and hoped he didn't feel the warmth under his palms. "... Thank you, and... Sorry."

"You don't have to apologise." Before letting go of your cheeks, he poked them on both sides. "And anyway, you think I'd be disappointed with a reason to cuddle up with you? No way!"

An old couple passed by who overheard, and chuckles to themselves. Yosuke's face soon matched yours in heat.

"Ah... S-Sorry." Yosuke rubbed the back of his neck with an awkward laugh. He then held his hand out. "W-Well, wanna get going?"

Although embarrassed, you took it happily. You were eager to get away from other people and recharge, as he said.

Soon after entering your bedroom, he got to work with piling on blankets and pillows on the bed. It wasn't his first visit to your house, so he knew the place of everything. He scrolled through the choice of movies, and you smiled at his consideration. He knew you wouldn't feel too chatty.

You were looking forward to bundling up in the makeshift fort and watching the movie with him, but about ten minutes in, you felt your eyelids grow heavy. You tried to fight it, but Yosuke's secure grip combined with his warmth made it a difficult task.

He noticed this, and chuckled. The sound rumbled in his chest. "Feeling sleepy?"

"No." You answered, an easy lie to see. He stroked your head gently, only furthering your sleepy state.

"Sure, sure." He said. "If you happen to fall asleep though, that's fine. I'll be here when you wake up."

Despite being half asleep, still some guilt lingered. This might've been a disappointing date to him, after all you were both busy with your jobs lately. Time spent with one another was sparse.

Too tired and burnt out to explain all that though, you apologised once again. "Sorry..."

"Hey, it's fine." Yosuke's voice had become lower as he spoke, quiet and soft. "It's a little embarrassing to say, but... I'm fine with any time I have with you. It doesn't really matter what we do."

His cheeks felt particularly warm after saying that, but he had some confidence as you weren't looking at him. Under his arm that he had wrapped around your shoulders, he could feel them rise and fall rhythmically.

"Already out, huh?" He said aloud, and smiled. A while after stroking your hair for a bit, he closed his as well.

"Goodnight then, and... I love you."
