The constant fluttering of the white snow was a nice backdrop against the usual busy streets of Shibuya, as were the bright lights from the towering buildings. If not for those, the city would be covered in pure darkness.
As expected, many were spending time with their significant others on Christmas, including you! You had made plans with your girlfriend, Futaba earlier in the month.
She didn't go to school, so you actually met her through your friends at Shujin. Despite having a sad past, she was extremely quirky and a lot of fun to be with. Her interests matched with yours, so shre opened up relatively quick. After a while of keeping quiet about your crush on red-haired girl with the help of your friend encouragement you confessed, and were now going out with the girl.
Just thinking off he cute flustered face she made caused a chuckle to escape your lips, but it wasn't like you were any less embarrassed yourself at the time.
The sudden -ping!- of your phone brought you out of your thoughts, making you look down. Your screen was lit up, showcasing a text from your bespectacled girlfriend.
"Hey! Where are you? It's already dark, y'know!"
You chuckled lightly at the impatient text. "Sorry, I'll be there soon :D."
"Okay :<"
As Christmas was ago spending time with your loved ones, what place could be better than the comforts of home? Futaba's home to be exact. You've been there a couple times, but not for as long as you were going to tonight.
Sojiro already knew all about you, so he was fine with this decision. You knew yourself that you'd never want to hurt Futaba, on purpose or not, so you didn't need the café owner to warm you as scarily as he did. He was her father figure after all though, so you could understand.

After a train ride to Yongen-Jaya, soon you were at the door of the Sakura residence, knocking on the door. It soon swuhg open, and you were greeted by Sojiro.
"Ah, it's you. Futaba's upstairs."
You gave an appreciative nod. "Thank you. Merry Christmas, sir!"
The older man smirked with amusement. "Yeah, you too kid."
With that he stopped aside to allow you to enter the house. It was clean and homely. Not wanting to make Futaba wait anymore, you made your way upstairs. Plus, you couldn't deny you just wanted to see her.
You could tell which door was her's right away, as it was covered in yellow tape and had the word 'Do not enter!' all over. Despite the warning, you knocked lightly on the door, quickly hearing her answer.
You opened up, peering around the small room with curiosity. What first caught your eye was the large glowing moniter placed on a desk, as well as the hunched figure seated in front of it. Futaba turned around, her thin eyebrows furrowed in slight irritation.
"You took forever! ... I was waiting." Her pale cheeks were a tint pink as she spoke.
"Sorry, really! I have a peace offering though." You said. She blinked up at you, looking interested.
You carefully placed the bag you were holding onto her bed, then took out the contents. Just from the box, she could tell what it was. Her being so sharp was just one of the many things you liked about her.
"You got cake? How'd you know?" Her pout from earlier had completely disparaged, instead her lips had formed a small grin.
You mirrored the smile. "You can't have Christmas without cake. It was busy, so it took a little while to get."
