A/N: Just like the first part, there's major spoilers present!

After your memories failed to come back, a dark, gloomy cloud towered over the group of thieves, not showing signs of leaving. You may have been alive still, but without the memories you made with them, the things that made you human, were you truly yourself? Questions like these often festered in the silences left between them.
However even with their heartache and grief, they had to press on. Not just for themselves, but for the sake of the world too as the battle was far from over. It had felt strange, fighting without a certain someone beside them. There were no more calculations, no more ultra-serious quips that they couldn't help but chuckle at. There was nothing but the thought of you, and the perseverance to keep fighting.
The months following your awakening were as quick as they were chaotic. Delving into the depths of Mementos, facing against a Malevolent God, working to clear Akira's name; the thieves never rested for a moment, until now.
Things had considerably calmed, and their regular lives continued. What was left to focus on was the date of Akira's eventual departure, the thought looming over everyone's heads. There was still time though, and it was going to be spent well, with no regrets!

It was late January now, the weather still cold with a bitter chill in the air. The sound of a glass cup being set on the counter broke the silence in Leblanc, and Akira hesitated before he spoke.
"Here." He said, sliding it forwards towards his friend. "Fizzy and full of sugar, just how you like it."
Only a measly hollow chuckle could be mustered up in response, but Ryuji accepted the glass anyway. "... Thanks, man."
The ice clinked together as he took a sip, the glass returning to its coaster afterwards. The clock ticked on, and Morgana's tail swayed with unease.
"Everything..." Ryuji spoke up, his voice slicing through the dead air. "Everything's sorted, right?"
At Akira's sympathetic stare, Ryuji's own eyes directed downwards at his glass.
"Why do I feel so damn restless then?" He asked, but his voice had weakened, becoming almost inaudible.
It still was heard by Akira, who's shoulders raised with a deep inhale. "Because, not everything has. Not exactly."
There wasn't an immediate reply.
"You don't have to pretend you're not still hurting, Ryuji." Morgana said genuinely.
"What's the point? Nothing's gonna change." The blond responded harshly, caught between his grief and frustration. "She can't be fixed. I keeping telling myself that! But I just can't get it through my own thick skull, can I?!"
The lasting echoes of his abrupt yells resounded around the quaint café, before it settled into silence once again. Morgana and exchanged a look.
Akira turned to face Ryuji. "We're all upset. All of us lost a friend."
There was a pause before anyone spoke up again.
"I... I know. Sorry, guys." Ryuji apologised, sighing as his palm hit his forehead tiredly.
Akira smiled reassuringly. "You're good. We all have our moments."
"Yeah, thanks." Ryuji managed to reply, smiling back.
