"This is boring, Akira." You whined, resting your chin on your palm.
Your brother continued to wash the dishes in the small café, chuckling slightly at you. "You could be at home right now, not here."
That was true. Since Akira was put on probation, you were sent to live with someone else for a while. You knew for a fact he'd never do what he was accused of, so you were adamant about coming with. So people would let you, you told your parents that you were keeping an eye on him, and so they let you go with him , although reluctantly.
You pouted. "That's not even an option, you know that."
"Sure." He replied nonchalantly.
Sighing, you rested your head across the booth table. It wasn't that you regretted your choice, but there wasn't much to do. The man taking care of you was nice, although at first a bit prickly.
Since you were still young, you weren't allowed to go out to busy places yourself, or go out late at night. Sure there was a television in the attic room where both of you rested, plus a retro gaming system, but you weren't satisfied doing that all day. Plus even Morgana, Akira's cat got sick of you wanting to play with him.
You heard the sound of plates being stacked. "Alright, I'm done."
"Finally! Can't we go somewhere?" You pleaded with him.
Akira put a hand to his chin. "If you want, I'm not busy."
Ecstatic, you threw your hands up in the air. "Yes! Thank you!"

As promised, your big brother took you out to explore. As usual, Morgana was tucked safely in his bag. The streets were constantly filled with people, but you made sure not to get lost. Although your mood earlier was low, you felt much better now that you were having fun.
The two of you took a trip to Akihabara, where lots of things caught your eye. You saw a gatcha machine, which held little capsules. Akira chuckled at your starstruck look, rummaging in his pocket for spare change.
He found some, handing it to you. With no hesitation, you inserted the coin and turned the dial, the machine making quite the ruckus as one if the capsules fell down the tube. Lifting the lid, you saw your prize.
The toy inside the little capsule held a popular character, Neo Featherman Red Hawk!
You stifled your squeals, turning to Akira with excitement. He smiled at your energy, when his phone went off.
"Sorry, it could be important." He said. You were disappointed, but nodded nonetheless.
Akira brought out his phone, scrolling down into a chat log. You knew that you shouldn't be so nosy, but what could be so important for a high schooler?
Being discreet, you looked at the messages being sent to him. Most of it was unintelligible from your view, but you managed to get the gist of what was said.
???: .... Got some new info.... Meet in .... Mementos.
You furrowed your eyebrows. Mementos? Was that a code for something?
Akira sighed, placing his phone back into his pocket. You jumped at the sudden movement, keeping your stare aimed at the ground.
"Sorry, I have to go."
You looked up at him, confused. "But..."
"I know, but it's crucial. I'll call Sojiro to pick you up." He said, about to bring out his phone again.
