It was less than a week to Christmas, and the weather reflected that well in Inaba. As pretty as the light snow was, the air was a biting cold that ushered you back into your warm room quick. You were planning on lounging around a bit more, when you got a phone call.
Not expecting one, you answered puzzled. "Uh, hello?"
"This is Margaret."
"Oh." You smiled slightly. Well that explained it. "What is it? Some, thing you need?"
"Margaret's velvety voice echoed from the other line. "You could say that. I have a favour to ask of you."
"A favour? What-"
"I will be awaiting your arrival in the Velvet Room." With a brisk goodbye, Margaret hung up, leaving you to wonder what the favour she mentioned was.

A while after putting in your winter coat and shoes, you walked down the street with your arms tightly folded across your chest. Soon you found the luminescent door between the old shops. It looked somewhat comforting in the frigid night.
Upon entering a white light rushed past you, quick enough that it was over in about a second. What met your eyes next was the calming ultramarine of the Velvet Room, and the wearer of said colour sitting idly by with a book in her hands.
"Welcome to the Velvet Room." She cooly greeted, before smiling. "It is not often I have the chance of saying so."
"Hey, Margaret." You said, nodding at her. "Igor's not here?"
"He has other duties to attend to, as do I." She explained. "Now, I have a request of you."
"You mentioned something like that. What is it?" You asked. This wasn't the first time Margaret had requests for you, but they were more along the lines of persona fusing.
"To my knowledge, this specific month is quite enjoyable for others. Especially with what is known as 'Christmas' soon approaching." Margaret voiced eloquently. "As it seems to be the perfect time, I'd like to partake in the festive activities that this month has."
Her words sunk in all at once, having you stare at her for confirmation. "Wait, you want to do regular Christmas stuff? Like what?"
"I'll leave those details to you." She smiled. "Is this request doable?"
After agreeing, Margaret and you exited the Velvet Room, the door closing with a soft thud. You shivered instantly at the change in temperature.
"To be honest, I wasn't expecting you to be interested in this kind of thing." You confessed.
Margaret's gaze was kept steady as she looked ahead, but the sound of her heels against the pavement was accompanied by a small sigh. "I admit it is outside my usual endeavours. In fact, it's something my sister would ask instead of I."
"Sister? You have a sister?" You looked over to her in shock.
She smiled at your reaction. "Yes, and more siblings. I'm the eldest of them all."
"Wow..." You said. "You're really dependable, though, so I can see it."
"My, thank you." She lightly bowed her head. "I can only hope my services to you are reliable. That is my duty to a dear guest such as yourself."
'She really is a professional.' You thought, rubbing the back of your neck. "Well you have helped a lot. So I don't mind returning the favour. It seems like fun anyway!"
