Naoto Shirogane x Shy!Fem!Reader (P4)

You have been going out with your girlfriend for a couple months now, but you realised that you've never actually went out together. The thought made you a little sad, maybe Naoto was disappointed with that fact, or worse, maybe she didn't want go anywhere with you!

You couldn't help but be worried about it, so you asked for some advice. 

"Naoto, upset? No way, you're just overthinking it!" Yosuke assured you, stacking shelves. 

You sighed, helping him stack. "But she might not want to hurt my feelings, so she's never said..."

Yosuke stopped stacking shelves for a moment, turning to you with a hand on his hip. "You're worried because you've never went out together right? Why don't you just go on a date?"

Your face suddenly felt warm. "A d-date...?"

He winked at you, a grin on his face. "Yeah! Take it from the love expert himself." 

Yosuke stated it so confidently, it actually made you feel a bit better about the situation. There was still one problem though...

"I can't think of where we should go, though... Would you know, Yosuke-kun?" You asked. 

He looked taken aback, laughing nervously. "Me? 'Course I do... Let's see..." 

You waited patiently as he thought. Then, he slammed his fist on his open palm. "Got it! Why not the beach?" 

"The beach? Isn't it a bit cold for that...?" You pondered. 

Yosuke's face fell. "Ah, right... You could go out of town, but the journey would be way too-"

You clapped your hands happily, beaming up at the Junes worker. "That's perfect! We could go visit one out of town!"

"Really? But the trip would be super long and tiring." Yosuke said.

A feeling of bashfulness surfaced. "I don't mind. I like spending time with Naoto..."

Yosuke was silent, then groaned. "Ugh, why can't I get a girlfriend, too?!"

"Aw, Yosuke-kun. I'm sure you'll find someone you're happy with." You said with genuiness, patting his shoulder. 

"It's hard to feel good about you saying that when you already have one." He whined, but smiled at you. "Thanks though. I'm sure Naoto will be thrilled."

Excitement was starting to bubble in your chest. "I can't wait!" You were about to turn and leave Junes, when you stopped.

"Oh, want me to stay and help?" You offered. 

"Nah, I've got this. Go get your date!" Yosuke cheered, making you smile. With a bounce in your step, you jogged out of the shop in search of Naoto.

You didn't have  to look far, as Naoto was just walking down the Central Shopping District.  

Being so excited about Yosuke's suggestion, you didn't realise your speed and found yourself unable to slow down in time, causing you to collide into Naoto's form. 

She didn't let you fall, instead keeping you steady with her hands planted firmly on your shoulders. "Y/n-san, what's the hurry?"

You looked up to apologise and tell her your reason, when you noticed how close your faces were. You weren't the only one who blushed.

Quickly you got up, straightening out your clothes. "Um, I was going to ask..."

All the courage you had worked up beforehand was starting to disappear, but the calm look Naoto was giving you was making you feel relaxed.
