After a long while of discussing Mementos requests and planning the group's next move, everyone made their way home for the evening.
As you were exiting Leblanc and walking down the street, you were in such a daze that you didn't notice your boyfriend trying to keep up with you until he tapped your shoulder lightly.
"Oh!" You jumped, swiftly turning around. Yusuke looked down at you with an apologetic expression.
"Forgive me, I had no intentions of startling you." He said sincerely.
You shook your head, your sigh causing condensation in the cool night air. "No, it's fine... It's my fault, sorry."
Yusuke paused for a moment, watching you carefully. He noticed earlier that during the meeting you seemed out of sorts, but he didn't know the reason.
You on the other hand glanced down at your feet guiltily. You barely said anything during the latest Phantom Thieves meeting, and now you've made your boyfriend worry about you...?
The tall boy frowned to himself, a hand to his chin. Then, his hand fell to intertwine with one of your own.
"Yusuke?" You gaze flickered from your joint hands to his face, seeing him smile softly at you.
"Do you have some time to spare?" He questioned.
It took a moment for you to reply, even though you knew you had nothing but free time. "Well, I do, but..."
"Then would you like to stay at my place for a bit?" Was his polite query. Despite the current hollowness you were feeling, his suggestion brought your stomach to a fluttery mess.
"Oh, um... I'm fine with the idea, but..." You voice faded, but you continued. "I'm not sure I'll be good company, with how I am right now..."
Yusuke's squeezed your hand affectionately. "No need to worry, being with you is always pleasant."
His words rung with heartfelt truth, and yet you couldn't believe them completely. Still, you tried your best to smile at him.

Yusuke flicked the switch on the wall, and the light flickered a bit before turning on completely. Now with the small room completely lit, you could see the amount of paintings scattered around on the walls.
You simply looked around in awe. Of course you knew of his love of art, that was one of many things you loved about him. To finally see them all however, it felt unreal, like being in a museum only you were a guest to.
Yusuke smiled, happy that was just a few moments, your gloomy demeanour had disappeared. It was then that he had an idea.
"Wow, these are all so amazing." You complimented. "You're such a skilled artist, Yusuke."
He stopped closer to you and put a welcoming hand on your shoulder. "Would you like to try it?"
You peered up at him, puzzled. "Try what?"
"Painting. I find it to be a calming pastime." He informed, voice warm.
You glanced at the blank canvas propped up, a stool in front of it. "I don't know, I'm... I wouldn't be good at it. I don't want to waste your canvas."
Yusuke only shook his head, and with gentle hands he led you over to the stool. "A canvas' purpose is to be painted on; I see no way that you would waste it."
You were still unsure, but seated yourself on the stool. Yusuke took out some paints, kneeling down beside you. Being so tall, it was almost as if he was sitting on a stool himself.
