Yosuke Hanamura x Fem!Reader (P4) [1]

It was becoming increasingly obvious that Yosuke had a crush, and it was painfully clear it was on someone in the group. It was first noticeable by Yu, who silently observed the way Yosuke who would unconsciously smile whenever you were around, as paired with his awkward attempts of being casual, it was easy to tell what his feelings were.

"Hey, Yosuke." He brought up while class has finished. 

He looked up, sliding his headphones down around his neck. "Huh? What's up?"

Yu's face remained blank. "Why don't you ask out Y/n?"

"Wha-?!" Yosuke went rigid, coughing slightly. "What are you talking about?!"

"You don't like her?" The leader asked.

Yosuke averted his eyes. "I-It's not that I don't like her-"

"So you do like her." Yu confirmed. 

Now flustered, Yosuke stood up. "Hold on a sec!"

"Yosuke likes someone?" 

"Gah!"

Standing by the two was Yukiko and Chie, exchanging looks with one another. Yukiko tilted her head, looking intrigued. "Is it true?"

"Yeah." Yu answered blankly, causing Yosuke to snap his head towards him. 

"Dude!" 

Chie hummed to herself as she pondered. "I wonder who it is. Any chance we know her?"

"We know her well." Yu replied, and seeing that there was no way he was getting out of this, Yosuke put his face in his hands and groaned.

The pair of girls gasped, faces lighting up. 

"Could it be Hanako-san?" Yukiko guessed. 

"No!" Yosuke denied. "It's- uh, somebody else."

"Hmm." Chie put her hands on her hips, eyebrows furrowing as she thought hard. "Then... Is it that Ebihara girl?"

"Not her, either!" He grumbled.

Yu smiled, deciding Yosuke had had enough. "I think it's fine if you tell them, right Yukiko, Chie?"

"Of course! We can keep a secret!" Chie promised. Yukiko nodded as well.

"I'm not sure about that..." Yosuke muttered, but after seeing everyone's supportive gaze he finally let out a sigh, leaning in. "It's... Y-Y/n."

As if the information was just sinking in, the reaction was delayed. Chie then went wide-eyed, almost raising her voice in shock before Yukiko quickly spoke first.

"For how long?" She asked. Yosuke rubbed the back of his head, embarrassed.

"Um, since she joined the team, I guess..." He responded bashfully. "She's been helping me a lot, both in that world and here."

Once the words left his mouth, Chie and Yukiko simultaneously cooed his blush only getting red.

"W-Well, whatever! It doesn't matter anyways." He said, running a hand through his hair.

"I wouldn't say that." Yu voiced mysteriously. Yosuke eyed him wearily, but could admit to himself he was curious. 

Chie nodded, clenching her fist determinedly. "Yeah! We can help you with your crush!"

"What crush?"

"Gah!"

In shock both Yosuke and Chie quickly turned to the source of the voice. Yu was otherwise unbothered, and Yukiko simply looked surprised.
