It was so busy... and loud... has it always been so noisy?
You were just with your parents, but they were getting boring stuff like 'groceries'. Junes was huge, so you wanted to see other stuff that was here! You wandered off on your own while they were discussing dinner, and started your adventure.
It was fun at first... but now you were tired, and your feet hurt. And the massiveness of Junes didn't impress you anymore, it only scared you. What if you couldn't find your parents again? What if you got stuck here until nighttime, and you got locked in...!?
Tears pricked at your eyes, and you sniffled.
"I don't like this anymore..." You mumbled to no one in particular, and sank to the floor. Holding your knees, you hid your face.
The sounds of footsteps, the jingle of the store, and constant chattering was getting to be too much. You calmed your hands over your ears, squeezing your eyes shut tight.
You tried to think of your favourite things, Neo Feathermen, or Magical Detective Loveline... but it didn't help.
Then, you felt something soft poke you. It kinda felt like one of your stuffed animals.
You peeked an eye open, and jumped back in surprise. It was a teddy bear, a giant one!
"Oh no, what's wrong!" The bear said as you let your hands fall from your ears. "Junes is a place for smiles!"
You frowned. "I hate Junes."
The bear staggered back in shock. "Wh-What! Well, I don't like working much but- wait, that's not the point!"
He seemed to intent on shaking his head, but just shook his whole body instead. "Anyway! What's wrong?"
You hesitated, turning away. You were in too bad a mood and you weren't going to let up until you could tell your parents about this. But... a talking bear was cool.
"My name's Teddie! What's yours?"
Quietly, you said it, and he beamed.
"So, what's up? I don't see kids your age alone... Oh! Are you lost?"
Feeling somewhat embarrassed, you nodded. "I meant to go back before they noticed... but..."
At the memory of it, you teared up again. Teddie flailed his arms in a rush.
"No no, don't cry! It's okay!" He promised. "You can count on me. I got trained by the prince of Junes, so I know this place like the back of my hand."
You peeked up at him. "... Really? Wait, there's a prince?"
Teddie winked. "Its a secret! Not many people know. And I'm... a loyal, dashing knight! Heheh.
In an instant, your eyes lit up, and Teddie smiled in relief.
"Let's start our mission then! Find your parents, goooo!"
Suddenly filled with energy, you jumped up and saluted. "Gooooo!"

Teddie, true to his word - did know the store well!
You told him your parents were shopping for food, but once you got to the food aisles, they were nowhere to be found. You peeked around every corner, your head turning left and right repeatedly. Teddie watched with a frown, seeing you lost hope again.
"Maybe they took a detour too! We'll find them soon." He said, easing your worries. "Oh! Ever try these?"
He waddled over to a pair of large, luxurious-looking chairs. He hopped on, instantly relaxed.
