Since you woke up this morning, you've haven't been feeling right. Actually, it's been like that for a while now. You've been trying to think of what the cause would be, but nothing has stood out to you. It was as if a switch was flicked, and you couldn't turn it off.

You continued as usual, hoping the empty and hollow feeling would eventually disappear, but it seemed you weren't in luck. You simply settled with distracting yourself with your studies, it being the only thing that stopped your insecure thoughts.

Not wanting your friends to worry, you tried to keep it hidden. However, some people were just too good at deducing.

"Hey, bro!"

You jumped, seeing a puzzled face in front of you. Yosuke raised an eyebrow.

"Woah, what's up with you? We're going to the food court." He said, pointing at the rest of the group. Both the second years and first years looked at you with mixed expressions, some worried and some looking confused.

You nodded, picking up your bag. "Nothing, I'm fine. Let's go."

Trying to keep your tone light and believable, it seemed to do the trick. One person looked skeptical, but you pretended not to see it.

"Alright!" Yosuke clapped his hands. "Let's get going."

During the walk, you stayed quiet, only exchanging some conversation to avoid looking strange. You did the same now that you were sitting in Junes' food court.

"I feel like we're always here. I'd be sick of it if the steak wasn't so good." Chie thought aloud, leaning back in her chair.

Yosuke grimaced slightly. "Are you insulting it, or complementing it...?"

"Huh? Well..."

The banter continued, you on the other hand only half-listening to what was being said. You didn't notice someone speaking to you until your shoulder was patted.

Looking over, Yukiko held a sorrowful expression.

"Y/n-kun, are you feeling alright? You've been seeming off for a while now." She  pointed out, taking her hand away from your shoulder.

Your heart thumped with anxiety. "I-I'm fine, just... Anxious about school, I guess."

Kanji looked unconvinced. "School? It's just sitting in a classroom. Worst thing about it is that it's boring as hell."

Chie grumbled. "I'd like to see you say that when you're a second year! There's a lot more work for us."

"Heehee, I'm not worried. I have Senpai to teach me after all." Rise gushed, staring dreamily at Yu with a smile.

"I feel a little worried about you guys... At least you have Naoto-kun, though." Yukiko said, looking over at said person.

You did the same, only to see her stare was aimed at you.

Chie tipped her head to the side, eyebrows raised. "Naoto-kun?"

Feeling the stares on her, her shoulders suddenly got rigid as if she wasn't expecting to be spoke to. She calmed herself, finally giving a reply.

"Oh, yes, that's right." She responded, tearing her gaze from you.

Her actions were definitely strange, but nobody said a word about it. There was a lull in the conversation when a familiar, cheerful voice was heard.

"Big bro, I knew you'd be here!"

Yu turned his head to see his little cousin, Nanako Dojima. Instantly his blank expression changed to a warm smile.
