Akihiko Sanada x Fem!Reader (P3)

"Dude, how're we going to defeat that thing?!" Junpei pointed, jaw slack. 

Down the end of the hall was another Shadow. This type of thing wasn't new to you all, but it was clear just  at first glance it was powerful. And with everyone mostly exhausted from traversing the floor ascending to this Shadow, it didn't seem likely that the fight would result in the party's favour.

Fuuka soft voice resounded out. "It's pretty dangerous... We could leave it for now and come back once we're ready."

"..." Minato readjusted his grip on his sword. "Let's deal with it now."

"What?!" Yukari gawked at him. "Didn't you just hear Fuuka?'

He nodded. "I did. But I only have tonight to get a reward for those documents." 

"Documents...? Ah well, whatever. I guess you have your reasons for it..." Yukari replied, sounding defeated. 

The group began to devise a plan by the wall, out of the shadows sight. Most of them, including you wondered what Minato meant, but you didn't think too hard about it. He was the leader after all, so he probably knew what he was doing! ... Probably. 

However even with being said, mostly everyone looked exhausted. You looked between them all in concern, then raised your hand up to get their attention.

"I'll go!"

Mitsuru folded her arms. "You're sure about this? It won't be easy." 

"Yeah! I can handle it, my persona and me have been getting stronger." You promised, putting a hand on your biceps with a grin.

Akihiko saw this and chuckled a bit, standing up alongside you. "Then I will too. I can't have my underclassmen showing me up."

Although you tried to mask your happiness, the effort only seemed to be fruitless as you beamed. "Then there's no way we can lose!"

Minato looked at you both blankly, a ghost of a smile showing his face before it quickly faded. "Then we need someone to heal of things go bad."

Yukari hesitated before sighing. "Fine, I guess I'll go. This better go well."

"Great!" You cheered, then winced as you remembered to lower your voice. "We'll be fine, we've made it this far!"

You all heard Fuuka giggle. "If Y/n-chan is saying so, then she must be right."

"Aw, thanks Fuuka." You beamed, now looking between the faces of your team. "Let's get going then!"

Yukari stood up and joined you albeit sluggishly, brandishing her bow. "Alright... I have to say, I kinda envy your enthusiasm."

You simply laughed in reply. The others stood up as well from resting on the floor, informing you and the rest that they were going back to Fuuka. After doing so, Minato went ahead and led the group, Yukari following close behind despite her reluctance. 

It was during your walk that you notice the lack in footsteps behind you, and turning to look you saw Akihiko standing there, looking at his glove-covered hands. 

"Akihiko-senpai?" You called, returning to him.

He said nothing, then looked up as if he just realised you were there. "Uh, sorry about that."

"What's up? Are you actually not feeling well?" You guessed, putting your palm to his forehead to check. "Hm, you seem fine."

"Huh?" His pale face flushed slight pink as you withdrew your hand. "N-No, that's not it. "

Tipping your head to the side, you sent him a questioning look. "Then...?"

"Earlier, you didn't hesitate... You're not afraid of getting hurt at all?" He asked. You noticed his fists had clenched by his sides.
