Breaking her chocolate into squares, Ann frowned. "What's taking those two so long?" At least she had some quality sweets to help pass the time. With that thought in mind, a smile rose on her lips. As she indulged in the luxuries of chocolate, two students walked past.
"How's that student in your class, has he stabbed anyone yet?" One joked across the way.
The other shuddered in response. "No, but I bet it's a matter of time. I'm waiting for him to snap."
"Why does Shujin even allow people like that? There's that guy in my class, too..."
The second one shrugged. "You know the deal with him, though... Maybe his dad has something on the principal."
"I guess. Ugh, I wish I was in a different class!"
They soon left, the classmate laughing at their friend as they went. Having overheard it, Ann wrapped her chocolate in it's package. It just tasted bitter now. She thought things have got a little better at Shujin since Kamoshida's arrest, but it looked like that wasn't the case. And it wasn't so easy to change the prejudices of gossiping students.
The more Ann thought of it though, she grew restless. It wasn't so long ago that she was considered an outsider as well. Plus, getting blamed for who your dad was? That just wasn't fair!
"I'll find him myself!" Ann exclaimed with a pumped fist. If nobody was going to help this mysterious person, then she would. That's what Shiho would've done too.
"... Find who?" A voice asked, and Ann jumped.
"W-Woah!"
Turning to see it was only Akira and Ryuji, she sighed. "Oh, you saw that?"
"Obviously. And I was the one getting told not to bring attention to myself..." Ryuji complained, crossing his arms.
Ignoring his comment, Ann answered the previous question. "Actually, I need some help with something."
After explaining the conversation she overheard earlier, the two nodded.
"Man, that sucks." Ryuji said, frowning. "Sounds like him and Akira could get along though."
"Well, he does have a surprising amount of connections." Ann replied. "And speaking of that- I need help finding him!"
Ryuji grimaced. "Last time we tried that, no dice. No one will talk."
"Yeah, but you were involved that time, Ryuji." Ann said.
"What's that mean?!"
Akira spoke up. "I could listen in for some info. Mishima could help too."
Happy, Ann cheered. "Thanks!"

"I'm sorry you had to come to the roof again. If you'd like, we can go somewhere else?"
"It's fine, Haru." You replied. "Last thing you need is more people looking at you funny."
Haru smiled sympathetically. "I doubt it'd make a difference at this point... But, at least it's quiet up here."
"That's why I like it." You said, to which she giggled. For months now you have spent every lunch break on the rooftop with Haru. Her dad had some connections with yours, and even with your father's intense authority and... Way of conduct, Haru didn't avoid you like the other students.
Not that you could blame them though. It makes sense they'd avoid you like the plague. No one wanted to be involved with the yakuza. You could deal with people not talking to you sometimes, but seeing them fall silent when you enter a room or look the other way hurt deeply.
