Today was your wedding, and the excitement was still present as the night went on. Months upon months of planning led you to wearing your dream dress, walking down the aisle to see your future husband.

You both exchanged vows as friends and family watched with smiles and for some tearful eyes. You were announced husband and wife, sealing the vows with a kiss.

It was now the after party, with meals being ate and people having fun on the dance floor. As Akira and you sat by your table you were immediately approached by your friends.

Ann was trying to avoid ruining her mascara with her tears, blinking harshly. The smile remained on her face though. "I'm so happy for you two. T-That was so nice...!"

Ryuji chuckled at his blubbering friend. "Heh, she's right."

"That was a spectacular wedding, how lovely!" Haru complimented, her hands clasped together.

"Well, it's not over yet. Thank you so much for inviting us." Makoto added.

Akira squeezed your hand on the table, smiling up to his comrades. "Of course I would invite you all. You're my friends."

"Mine too, there's no way I wouldn't invite you guys!" You said to her, beaming.

Makoto's tense expression relaxed, and she laughed a bit. "Yes, that's right. Still, we are very grateful."

Yusuke closed his eyes in thought. "Indeed. The aesthetics were on point, as expected. You don't disappoint."

The group let out a mix of light sighs and half hearted chuckles, when the chiming of silver tapping against a glass resounded in the room.

Surprisingly, it was the bleach-blond Ryuji. The people in the room turned their heads towards him when he cleared his throat.

"Uh, I think this is how you do this. Anyway, I just wanna say that my life really turned around when I met this guy and his wife. So I know they'll be happy together, just like they made us." He said with genuineness.

There was some silence, and Ryuji began to look down at his feet when Ann lifted up a glass herself and cheered. "For the the newlyweds!!"

The room erupted with applause, and the chatter resumed.

"That was very sweet." Haru smiled. Ryuji ruffled his hair response, his ears slightly pink.

"Well, I did mean it."

Akira lightly patted his shoulder, smiling himself. "Thanks, man."

You were already elated to have your wedding go so nicely, but seeing your friends being so happy for you both made your eyes fills up with tears. You blinked them away though, beaming up at them all.

"Thank you, everyone." Your voice came out a bit croaky.

Makoto waved her hand, expression calm. "It's only natural we'd be happy for you both. After all, you two were high school sweethearts."

You blushed at the memories. "Hehe, yeah..."

Ann sighed dreamily, looking up at the rooms white ceiling and looking down to the marble floors. "I hope my wedding is like this. It's like a fairy tale."

"I do as well." The artist mused. Ann looked up at him in surprise.

"You want to get married too, Yusuke?" She asked.

Yusuke brought his fingers to his chin. "Perhaps. I'm mostly looking forward to the decorating aspect."

"I feel like I should have expected that." The blonde answered flatly.

Futaba was barely listening, her eyes trained upon the large cake on the long rectangular table. Makoto noticed and set a firm hand on the hacker's shoulder. "Well, we should be going. It is your night after all."

With the brown-haired girl being practically dragged by the Futaba, the rest of your group followed with laughter. This left you and your husband alone together. Just the thought made your cheeks go warm, and your stomach flutter with happiness.

"So, how are you feeling Mrs. Kurusu?" Akira asked with a teasing smirk.

You only smiled back at him. "Just fine. Amazing, actually."

"You always are."

A bashful smile spread across your face. Even though you were now married, you still got embarrassed when he teased you like this.

"Oh, shush..."

A couple more people visited your table. Sojiro came over with a grin, congratulating you both, and also mentioning some embarrassing memories from high school when you were still shy around Akira. Eventually he left with a chuckle and wave.

Your friends and family also visited you two, both complimenting and embarrassing you. It was all in good fun though. Soon the clear sky had darkened, but the celebration only went on into the night.

Music was playing through large speakers, some being your favourite songs and some of Akira's. Guests were up on the dance floor having a good time, including your usual group of friends.

It looked like Ann had dragged Ryuji up with her, but he seemed to not hate it. Futaba had a large plate of food and was digging in, complimenting it while chewing. Yusuke was framing the room with both his index fingers and thumb as if he was remembering it to paint later.

Haru looked to be in a pleasant conversation with Makoto, gesturing with her hands and her eyes lit up like fluorescent bulbs. The dark-haired girl looked to be happy to be speaking to her, nodding along.

Of course, there was no way Morgana would be forgotten. He was looking at Ann with a dreamy look on his cute little face, a plate of sushi in front of him.

Akira spoke to you softly, the loving look in his gaze never fading. Even though he didn't say much you knew what he was trying to say just though his actions alone and the serene expression on his face.

The high-spirited atmosphere of the room calmed as the night went on, the sounds of gentle talking and the clinking of glasses was quite relaxing. A soft tune played out from the speakers, and some rose to the dance floor.

It actually surprised you when Akira appeared at your side with an arm outstretched.

"Shall we?" Was all he asked.

You chuckled, nodding. Taking your hand, he led you up to the floor and wrapped his arms around your waist to pull you close. Without hesitation your head rested on his shoulder, closing your eyes peacefully.

After some comfortable silence, he murmured something in your ear.

"Thanks." He said quietly. You raised an eyebrow at him although he couldn't see it.

"For what?"

"For staying with me through everything." He explained. "I appreciate it."

You couldn't help but let out a chuckle. "Of course I did. And I'll probably be by your side for even more."

Leaning up, you made sure only he could hear your voice. "The former leader of the Phantom Thieves goes through a lot, after all."

He chuckle deeply, when he gave you a sudden spin. A squeal escaped you before you started to giggle uncontrollably. You had your peaceful moments, but there was no doubt he still had a bunch of surprises up his sleeve. You were looking forward to finding out what they were.

Sorry if this wasn't what you hoped for, I've never been to a wedding so I'm not sure what actually happens during one! It was a really cute idea but I feel like I couldn't do it justice. I hope you enjoyed it anyway!

Edit: Fixed some things. ^^
