Haru Okumura + Male!Child!Reader (P5) [1]

"Let's see here... Ooh, our target is on this floor!" Futaba informed, excitement in her tone. Then she grumbled.

Ann noticed it immediately. "What's up, Futaba?" 

"This floor is a ton bigger than the rest, and there's shadows everywhere!" The navigator of the group complained. "We can take 'em, but if we get ambushed, we're pretty much finished!"

Ryuji straightened his back in shock at her words, hitting the top of his head in the bus. "What? Finished?!"

"Done for, bodied, massacred!" Futaba explained, clearly having fun being dramatic. 

"What do you say we do, Joker?" Yusuke spoke up from the back. The boy in question remained calm, both hands of the steering wheel.

"We should be fine as long as we don't all of their attention at once." Akira stated. 

Makoto nodded, a thoughtful hand to her chin.  "Yes, that's true. Although it'd be tough trying to manoeuvre ourselves like this. The walls are so narrow here." 

"H-Hold on." Ann interrupted, wrapped her gloved hands around her forearms. "We're not gonna split up, are we?"

There was a moment of silence that was filled with pondering, when Futaba could be heard from behind her laptop. "I don't see why not."

"I can give you plenty reasons why!"  The blonde scoffed, eyebrows furrowed. "Is there no other way?"

"For once, I can agree with Oracle. It seems choosing to remain as we are now would only prove to be unwise." Yusuke pointed out. 

Futaba huffed. "You could just say it normally, Inari!"

"Hmm, did I not?"

Sensing that another silly argument was about to happen, Makoto interrupted with her opinion. "I think so as well. Although I'd rather not be out in the open..."

"I think it'd be interesting to be close up to the shadows!" Haru smiled sweetly. "I wonder if they'd be more afraid with us walking normally instead of travelling with Mona-chan!"

Conversation broke out, everyone giving their thought on the matter. Everyone had a split idea of what they wanted to do.

Impatient, Morgana spoke up. "Can you guys make your mind up already? I have a feeling something will happen if stay here longer than we have to."

"That doesn't make me feel any better..." Ann whined, letting out a sigh. 

Now sounding flustered, the cat backtracked. "O-Oh, no! Don't worry Lady Ann! I'll keep you safe-"

Ann brought herself toward, clenching her fist determinedly. "Alright, if I just keep moving and don't think hard about it, I'll be fine!  So, what's the plan?"

Morgana sighed sadly, but it wasn't acknowledged. 

"Some of us will split up to distract the shadows. If we do that, we should be able to thin them out." Akira apprised. "We know where the target's exact location is, we just need to clear the paths."

The group nodded in agreement to their leaders suggestion. After organising the teams, they left the Morgana bus. Makoto shivered at the cold windy air in Mementos. 

"At moments like these, I somewhat envy Oracle." She mumbled to herself. Since Futaba didn't have a persona who could fight, she stayed in the bus and give Joker directions. 

"Yeah, the one who actually likes the dark gets to stay inside." Ann grumbled, but shook her head. "Anyway, we'll go up this way."

Ryuji adjusted his grip on his weapon, keeping it safe in his hands. "Yeah, then me an' Noir will go over there. Fox, you gonna be alright?"
