"Do you think she'll be alright?" Fuuka asked with worry.
Mitsuru nodded with a calm smile. "Yes, I'm sure. This will be simple for her.'
Fuuka seemed unconvinced, but reluctantly agreed. "If you say so..."
The person they were worried about was Labrys, a mechanical maiden that had been forced to fight many of her kind to collect data about the anti-shadow weapons. She had developed a shadow self, which was defeated by a helpful investigation team from Inaba. After this happened, she joined the Kirijo Group and helped them in their endeavours.
Although Larbys was without a doubt strong, there was smaller matters she had to get accustomed to, such as going shopping.
Fuuka was unsure if Labrys would be able to do this task, but the redhead continued to assure her that she'd be fine.

"Hmm, what'sa loaf? Guess I shoulda asked Mitsuru-san, huh?" Labrys said to herself, looking over the list she was given. She was excited to be relied on for things, although the ask was simple.
She was given a lot of strange looks directed her way, but she didn't notice them. Most people just thought she was some sort of cosplayer.
"I guess I'll just move onto the next thing." She thought aloud. "Eggs? I don't think there's any chicken 'round here."
She looked up from the list, when she saw a child sitting by himself. The sight of it made a sorrowful feeling build up in her chest. Was he feeling lonely like she was?
"'Ey, what you doing here?" She asked, raising her voice so he could near her.
The child looked up with surprise, then frowned. "What's it to you?"
Labrys was taken aback by the sudden rudeness, tilting her head to the side.
"Huh? What's up?"
Although the young boy still looked annoyed, his eyes were shining with tears. "Nothing!"
Labrys walked forward and sat next to the child, leaning back and staring at the sky. "What's makin' you so sad? Did your ma' ground you?"
"... I don't have a 'ma.'" He finally said. "What's with your accent, anyway?"
"I've always had an ac-cent." Labrys countered, when his words repeated in her mind. "Wait, you don't have-?"
"No." He quickly said. Labrys nodded in thought.
"So what're ya doin'?" She asked after a while.
He shrugged. "There's nothing to do at the orphanage. There's nothing to do here, either."
Labrys looked down at the shopping list in her hand. An thought occurred to her. "'Ey, why don't you come help me? Mitsuru-San gave me some stuff to look for, but I don't really know what some of this stuff is..." She explained, reading over the list.
The child raised an eyebrow. "Mitsuru...? Who's that...?"
"She's... A friend." Labrys replied. "Like I'm gonna be yours!"
His face lit up for a second, but he quickly tried to cover it up. "Friends? I don't even know your name though..."
She thrust out her hand, a grin on her face. "The name's Labrys!"
After some hesitation, the boy took her hand, shaking it with his own. "I'm Y/n..."
"Nice to meet your acquaintance!" Labrys beamed, proud she had a chance to say that. "Now, do you know what a 'loaf' is?"
The corner of Y/n's lips started to twitch as if he was going to burst out laughing, but he kept a straight face. "Um, yeah. The shop down the street has some..."

As promised, Y/n helped with the shopping, telling Labrys which things were which. He couldn't stop himself laughing when she asked where the chicken isle was, which she couldn't have been happier about. Soon the two of them had covered the list, and now they were resting on a bench by a nearby park.
"Thanks for the help, I didn't realise shoppin' could be hard work!" Labrys chuckled slightly to herself.
"It's fine... It was kinda fun." He admitted. Raising his eyes from the ground, he saw a mother pushing her child on the swings.
Feeling the girl's worried stare on him, he sighed. "It's nothing. I don't remember anything, anyway. There's nothing to miss."
Labrys stayed silent for a moment, thinking on what she could possibly say. She used to feel similar to the young boy, but now she did have a family.
"'Ey, how is that orphanage of yours?" She questioned.
Y/n looked surprised. "Um... It's alright, I guess. They have food, but it's nothing special." He answered.
The mechanical girl hummed, thinking of her options. The Kirijo group was kind enough to let her stay with them, so...
"My bunch are pretty nice. Why don't you stay with 'em?"
His eyes went wide. "Huh...? But wait, who's 'your bunch'?"
"The Kirijo group. They took me in after I was having a tough time. Since then, I've been havin' a great life!" Labrys explained. Y/n looked down at his lap on contemplation.
"I get it's a hard decision. But hey, they took in a robot like me, so they'll be fine taking care of a kid."
His mouth fell open in shock. "R-robot?! Is that why you look so weird?"
Labrys' eyebrows furrowed, red eyes narrowed. "I don't look weird! There was a lotta people who looked like me back at that place."
"That place?" Y/n echoed.
Seeing that she had to tell the truth, she sighed. "Yeah. Before I was with Mitsuru-san and the others, I had to do a lotta tests so these scientists could collect data." She confessed, thinking back on her memories.
Y/n looked at her sadly, when she gave him a friendly smile. "But 'ey, it's all good now."
He nodded, seeming to be thinking about what she said. "Well... Maybe I'll check it out." When he saw Labrys' face beam he continued. "Just for a while! It might... Be kinda cool."
Labrys grinned, standing up with shopping bags in hand. "Alright then, let's go! I'll tell 'em you helped, too!"
Y/n stood up with her, a smile forming on his own face as well. He didn't bother trying to hide it anymore.

A/N: This was a request as well, sorry it took so long!
I've never played Persona 4 Arena or Ultimax so I had to rely on the wiki to know her story and personality.
Thanks for being so patient, though!
