Kanami Mashita x Tsundere!Male!Reader (P4D)

"... Ouch!" You winced, furrowing your eyebrows. Your foot had been stepped on for the third time. "I said my left, not yours!" 

A look of panic flashed across the girl's face as she apologised. "Sorry, sorry! Let me try again!" 

You didn't start off this annoyed, in fact you always wanted to improve yourself as an idol by working with other people.  When you were given the chance to have a joint performance with the idol Kanami Mashita from the group Kanamin Kitchen, you were completely fine with the idea! 

The group was popular, and truthfully you really admired the lead, Kanami. Her performance at the LMB festival was like no other. You wouldn't admit it, but you were looking forward to meeting Kanami, since could learn a lot from her! ... Or so you thought. She was nothing like you had imagined, and sure, you could put the blame on yourself for that... But being as irritated as you were, you didn't really care. 

It wasn't that she was rude, when introductions were exchanged she was very cheerful and likeable. It was only until the music started up that you realised how exhausting this dance practice would be. 

"Fine. One more time." You said, feeling irritated. 

Kanami didn't pay it any mind, nodding determinedly. "Okay, let's do this!"

You pressed the button on the CD player, the song starting over again once more. Kanami and you took your place on opposites of the room, the steps you had memorised being performed seamlessly. However, you knew the hard part for coming up. 

With a spin you met in the middle of the room, where you'd mirror one another's movements. It was going well so far, much better than the last tries. However it seemed you spoke too soon, as Kanami stumbled over thin air and tripped up, accidentally putting all her weight on you.

Being caught off guard you couldn't keep yourself upright either, and the two of you landed on the floor. 

With a pained hiss you rubbed your back, opening your eyes slowly. Kanami was staring back at you, mouth agape.

"Ohmygosh, I'm so sorry! I swear this doesn't happen that much! I mean not that I don't fall over, I do that a lot..." She laughed awkwardly before realising her point."  "B-But not on top of somebody else!"

She spoke so quickly you almost didn't catch what she said, but somehow you did. That's when you had realised the two of you were still on the floor.

"J-Just get off of me already, idiot!" 

Kanami looked lost before she snapped into action. "Oh, yeah!" 

She sprung up, holding a hand out to you. "Sorry about that. Really, it doesn't happen that often!" 

You sucked in a breath, grabbing her hand. "Whatever."

As you stood to your feet, you glanced at her. Your expression was tense, Kanami looking worried as your gaze flickered back to the wall.

"What's up with you? You weren't like this before." 

The idol tilted her head in confusion. "Huh? What do you mean?"

You grit your teeth, finding it difficult to string your thoughts together coherently. "You keep fumbling around and messing up! How did you even get to this point?!" 

'Shit, that wasn't what I wanted to say!'  You kept your eyes averted from hers. Really you were just puzzled, the idol you looked up to was so much different from how you thought. Instead of saying that though, your panicked mind went straight to insults. 

Kanami was silent for a moment before she chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck. "I guess I've just always been clumsy, hehe."

"... I can see that." You muttered. Hearing her casual response, you looked back at her. It was then you saw the fire in her eyes.
