Shinjiro Aragaki x Fem!Friendly!Reader (P3)

Being a S.E.E.S member. It meant that you were well acquainted with your teammates. It didn't take long for you to be close friends with Yukari, Junpei, Fuuka and Minato since they were in your year. 

You were also friendly with your upperclassman, although they were popular so you weren't always met with a smile by their fans. 

That was just the type of person you were, and you were more than pleased to have good friends you could quite literally trust with your life. The only person you hadn't had the chance to talk to was Shinjiro.  Whatever conversation you managed to have with him became one sided, and soon devolved into complete silence between you both. 

You were persistent though! Despite his seemingly cool exterior as well as his curt answers, it was clear he was very kind. Often when he thought nobody was looking he'd speak with Koromaru, always looking happy as he did so. Sometimes you wondered if he was able to decipher his barks like Aigis! ... But it could just be that's he good with animals. 

You knew if you were to mention this, it'd be swiftly denied and he'd leave before you got to talk to him. With that being true though, you had no idea what he liked! In search of answers, you turned to your friends. 

"Huh? What does Senpai like? Hmm, hats? I get the feeling!" Junpei told you with a laugh. Although his reply amused you, it wasn't white what you were looking for...

Yukari tilted her head to the side, a thoughtful expression on her face. "I dunno... He's definitely not as tough as he tries to be though, that's for sure."

Minato simply stared at you, then shrugged. You sighed.

When all hope seemed lost, Fuuka tapped your shoulder gingerly. "Um, Y/n-chan?"

You turned to her, your expression gloomy. Fuuka clasped her hands and spoke.

"Since I spend a lot of time at the dorm, I see when people leave and enter." She explained softly. "Shinjiro-senpai usually leaves at a certain time. I was worried at first that he was in trouble, but he looks the same whenever he comes back."

Her words begun to register in your mind, and soon a smile was back on your face. "Oh, nice Fuuka! No wonder you're our navigator!" 

Her pale face flushed slightly due to the praise. "It's nothing, I just spend a lot of time indoors..."

"Alright, now I can try be better friends with him!" You nodded to yourself, feeling confident. "So, uh... What time was it?"

With Fuuka's information safely remembered, you waited in the lounge for Shinjiro to make his move. You noticed he was spending a lot of time in the kitchen, but thought nothing of it. 

'Hes probably just hungry.' You thought, trying to stay alert. 'I already ate the good stuff though...'

After silently apologising to him, Shinjiro left the kitchen and went through the large door. You tried to appear natural as he did so, forcing yourself to pay attention to another news report.

Once you heard the sound of the door closing, you got up to your feet. 

"Alright, time to-" 

"Woof!"

Koromaru called for you attention, sitting by your feet. You stumbled a bit, balancing yourself so you didn't step on the poor dog.

"K-Koro-chan? Where'd you come from?" You asked. Usually you'd spend all day petting him, but you were occupied! You were feeling especially antsy knowing that Shinjiro was only getting further and further away.
