The streets if Inaba were clear and quiet, you'd think time had went still in the picturesque town if it weren't for a distant howl of a dog echoing in the frosty night. Inside the Dojima residence it was much warmer, especially with the amount of company crammed in the small guest room.

Dressed in cosy winter clothes was all members of the Investigation Team, including yourself. You all had grown close throughout the year, so what better way to spend Christmas than to spend it with your friends?

It was of course Teddie's first Christmas, so he was practically bouncing off the walls in excitement. He was all smiles, but the same could be said for everyone else. "So what do we do now, Sensei? Hang up some mistletoe?"

"Uh hey, how do you know about that?" Yosuke questioned, unimpressed.

"I hear people talking abut it at Junes! Plus you talked about using it Yos-" a hand hurriedly planted itself on Teddie's mouth.

Yukiko tilted her head. "What was that?"

"Nothing, nothing at all!" Yosuke stressed before signing and sitting back. "A-Anyway, this is new. Usually when we all meet up like this it's for a meeting."

You gave a thoughtful nod in reply. "It's nice though, right? We've worked hard, so we deserve a break like this."

"Yeah, totally!" Rise agreed heartily. "It's been a while since I've done something like this. Usually I'm all booked up with work."

Chie grinned with enthusiasm. "It's different from usual, but I'm cool with it!"

The atmosphere inside the quaint house was cosy with exchanged smiles. The leader, Yu, was smiling composedly, but the glimmer in his eyes showed his silent happiness.

"I'm glad you all managed to make it." He said. "Sorry the room's a bit small."

Naoto shook her head. "No, no. It's just that there's so many of us. To be honest, I find more... Uplifting, than uncomfortable."

"I think so too! That might just be because I'm used to how busy the Inn gets though." Yukiko admitted with a small chuckle.

Time passed as you all chatted, when Chie mentioned how hungry she was. It was then that the unusually quiet Kanji placed a box on the small table in Yu's room. You all looked between his reddening face and the box, until he eventually spilled.

"If you keep looking at me with damn mouths open you're gonna catch flies!" He scolded.

"Sorry, sorry, but what is this?" You asked, looking closely at the box.

Kanji rubbed the back of his neck, averting his eyes. "Well I mean, it's Christmas right? It ain't a three course meal of anythin', but..."

Before he could finish, Teddie flipped the lid over, revealing a cake decorated in white icing, with a chocolate sign reading 'Merry Christmas'. The group erupted in various sounds of exuberance.

"Wow, Kanji-kun, you went all out!" Rise commented, leaning forward in her seat.

Yukiko nodded in agreement. "You really have!"

"I've still got ways to go till I can get to your level..." Chie muttered, but her face soon lit up. "This looks super tasty!"

"Can I get a slice?! Pretty please?" Teddie scrambled for a piece, Kanji pushing him back with one hand.

"C-Cool it bear, I was planning on it anyway!"

Moments later you all had a slice of cake, and although it had gotten even darker outside the night was far from over. A while later of chatting and laughing, it was time to exchange gifts for the secret Santa you all organised earlier in December.
