Now that you were a part of the infamous phantom thieves, you hung out with them for more casual meetings. You were afraid you'd be a bother, but everyone  in the group was extremely welcoming in their own ways.

Ann invited you out first, buying you her most recommended sweets. She was friendly and easy to talk to.

Makoto helped you with your studies, much like a tutor. She was very intelligent but not in an uptight way, making her good company.

Futaba was around your age, so she felt like your sister. With your combined love for Neo Featherman, talking to her was fun. You had a lot in common.

Yusuke was without a doubt strange, but he was interesting. His view on art was passionate, and him himself was kind, although dense.

Ryuji... He was a precious friend, of course, but it felt different from just that. Whenever you just sat near him it'd be enough to send your stomach into a fluttering mess. You weren't even sure why that was.

Today, once again, you simply sat and absentmindedly watched Akira wash the dishes. The small television on the dusty shelf droned on a low volume, a background soundtrack to your swirling thoughts.

Akira seemed to notice your restlessness, watching you from the corner of his eyes. Still, he said nothing, continuing to dutifully fulfill his task. The soft chime of a bell was heard.

"Hi! Sorry to drop by unannounced." Ann greeted, waving her hand.

Akira nodded over to her. "It's fine. Come on in."

Makoto, ever so polite, bowed her head slightly. "Thank you."

Futaba made herself at home, climbing up on the chair next to you and swinging her legs carefreely.

"Oh, and Y/n's here, too!" Ann beamed, patting your head.

Your shoulders stiffened, slackening when you realised it was just your friend. "Oh, yeah. Hi."

Ann shot a quizzical stare at your older brother, but he only shrugged.

"Well... How have you been, Y/n?" Makoto asked tentatively.

"Fine..." You replied. The girls exchanged concerned looks.

After some silence, Ann clapped her hands once. "Hey, why don't we have a girl's day? It'll be fun!"

"A girl's day?" You echoed. She nodded happily.

"Yep! I was used to having a ton of guys in the group, so I'm glad I got some girlfriends now!" She winked.

Makoto chuckled. "That seems like it would be quite enjoyable. Shall we go somewhere?"

"Uuurgh, do we have to? It's freezing outside, and my feet hurt." Futaba complained. You giggled, finally acting your normal self again.

"I don't mind! We can just go upstairs. Oh, wait..." Your gaze lingered on Akira, your smile forming into a frown. He didn't seem upset at all, his face only softening.

"I'm fine here. When I have a guy's night I'll have to kick you out though." He replied with a teasing tone.

Your sympathy instantly faded, and you stuck your tongue out at him. "I'll stay with Futaba then!"

The ginger-haired girl's eyes widened. "Like a sleepover?! I've never had one!"

The conversation fizzled out in exchange for laughter, you all finally going upstairs with a wave goodbye to Akira.

"I've mentioned it before, but I really don't know what to do. Lots of people marry young, right?" Ann said through munches of crisps.
