Stucky One Shots

Pride Month

"It's pride month," Bucky chirps as he bounds into the living room, grinning from ear to ear. "Y'know what that means?"

He walks over to the blond and looks at him expectantly. Steve smiles as Bucky kisses him, throwing his arms around his waist. Steve dips him downwards and Bucky hums.

"I've waited forever to do that," Bucky sighs.

"We've kissed before," Steve reminds, still slightly blushing. Bucky nods.

"Still. Every time it feels like the first. I'm glad I can feel comfortable kissing you in public, at least," Bucky mentions.

"Yeah," Steve agrees, moving to take his hands. "We should do something tonight. It's the first, right?"

"Mhmm. Dinner or what?" Bucky tilts his head.

"Whatever you want," Steve replies.

Nat walks in and smiles when she sees them. "Hey, boys," she hums as she strolls up to them. "So, you're gonna be officially out today?"

Steve gives her an alarmed look. "What?"

She raises an eyebrow and brings up the Avengers Facebook page. (Bruce made it. He, Tony and Thor sent gifs and memes amongst each other. The others ignored it)

"Tony posted here," she says slowly, pointing to the post.

Steve and Bucky look up at her slowly, flabbergasted. "What? Why? How did he -- "

Nat shrugs. "He didn't word it correctly, and didn't say you specifically, but... Yeah, most people kind of just... connected the dots," she speaks. Steve and Bucky look at each other.

"So we need to do some damage control?" Steve sighs.

"Guess so," Bucky says.

Of course, they completely own it.

"If we're doing this, we're doing this right," Steve insists, grabbing what he needs.

"Right," Bucky agrees.

"So... we are telling them, right?"

"Right."

"You ready?"

Bucky grins. "Always."

They get everything ready. Bucky dresses up in the most rainbow get-up he can find. His favourite items are the Captain America glasses and his fluffy rainbow scarf.

Steve likewise gets dressed in multiple colours of pink, blue and purple. Glasses to match, and Bucky even gets him to wear a snapback. He wanted to have fun with this.

The last step is to take a picture of them kissing and post it to every social networking platform they have with only the hashtag #lovewins.

Nobody was surprised, except for maybe Clint and Thor.

"Asgard also believes all should have gay and jovial marriages," Thor chuckles. "Really though, I'm proud for you two. You've found love," he adds and smiles.

"I'm still confused, you're bi?" Clint looks at Steve, who nods.

"Men and women are equally attractive," Steve comments and glances at Bucky. "But he's the most attractive one out there."

Bucky kisses him again and Steve smiles against him. Tony claps them on the shoulders, smirking.

"I knew it as soon as I laid eyes on you two together," he comments. Steve rolls his eyes.

"Mhmm."

"I totally knew immediately, by the way," Sam chimes, poking his head up in between the two of them. "The way Steve talked about you? I knew it."

Steve smiles at him, blushing. Bucky 'aww's at him.

"That's cute."

"I couldn't help it," Steve replies. Bucky hums and pulls him closer.

They head out for dinner to celebrate, glad to finally be public. Bucky takes great pleasure in kissing Steve in random places at random times, relishing in it. Steve was out of his mind embarrassed, face flushed, but he loved every second of it.

"Buck, timing," is all he says to remind him that they are, in fact, in public, when Bucky steals a quick kiss at the restaurant before their waiter walks over.

"I know, I know. I'm just -- " Bucky sighs a little. "I've never felt so... free before, y'know? Remember back in the day when we had to duck into alleyways or go into safe underground spaces just to steal a kiss?"

"I remember," Steve agrees.

"We've waited too d*** long for this. I've waited too d*** long, Steve. I wanna make up for lost time, I... I just want you while we're here," Bucky says. Steve smiles softly and takes his hand.

"I get it. We're here now, alright?"

Bucky nods. The waiter walks over and starts talking pleasantly to them both. Steve doesn't let go of Bucky.

He wouldn't ever again.

It's the beginning of Pride Month! I won't be able to do one every day, unfortunately, but here's this quick one shot.

Also. *Deep breath* I'm bisexual and I'm proud to say so! Sorry, I don't get a lot of chance to talk about it. But like -- guys are warm and nice and girls are soft and very cute.
