One week later.

Naina was feeling bored and she knew the reason absolutely well behind her boredom. Her personal handsome joker wasn't there to entertain her and ensure she is having a great time with a bunch of people. She missed how Sameer always managed to light up her mood even when she felt like hitting him hard on his head for annoying her. It was thoroughly blissful to acknowledge that her husband has been one of the best sources of unlimited entertainment and happiness for her.

"Kya kar rahi hai?" Sumit came to ask his teammate with a knowing smile.

"Kya lag raha hai mujhe dekh kar? Dikh rahi hoon khush?" Naina replied to him with a cute expression, wandering her gaze around the banquet hall filled with plenty of youngsters having fun at midnight with a glass of whiskey in some of their hands.

"Haha, I knew it isliye puchne aaya tha na. It's past 1 am, baat karle jaake apne Romeo se, subah se baat nahi hui hogi na?" Sumit said with an understanding look on his face.

"Haa, sirf 5 minute baat hui, aur thodi beech beech me chatting. He is very busy, aur main bhi, toh jab bhi woh free hota tha toh main offline rehti thi, aur jab mujhe thoda time milta tha toh woh busy rehta hai." Naina exhaled a long dismay breath while grabbing a can of red bull from the glassy freezer specifically for beverages.

"Aww yeh dooriyan, kaafi chubti hogi na?" Sumit said dramatically, earning a playful slap on his wrist.

Naina uncapped the can, taking a sip of the frozen liquid in sheer delight.

"Chal thodi der baat karle apne sameer se, main aata hoon thodi time me." Informing the young girl. Sumit left, walking out to the bartender.

Naina sauntered to the back side of the hotel, the half-finished bottle of red bull secured in her right palm. She heaved a sigh of dismay and settled her body on the chair, unlocking her phone to call someone Special.

"The number you have dialled is currently busy, kindly try again later."

The feminine robotic voice greeted her instead of Sameer, and Naina shrugged off, placing the phone next to her lap. She kept staring up at the sky having murkiness with shades of glum, and wondered if Aasman was upset because she was away from her lover.

Chuckling at her thoughts. She sat there quietly, gazing at the night beauty laying above the dark pitch sheets.

"Tu maane ya na maane dildara, assan te tainu rabb maneya."

The new ringtone rang aloud in the silent environment and Naina quickly looked down to see who was calling her.

"Pati Dev." ❤️ There his name appeared on the glassy screen after twelve-painful-and-most-annoying-hours.

"Hi, Jaan." Naina heard him greeting her in a husky voice when she attended his upcoming call.

"Hi baby, how are you?" She asked him in a soft voice.

"I'm fine, tum?" Sameer replied, sounding dull.

"I am fine too, missing you a lot, babu." Naina expressed her feelings in a disheartened tone while leaning comfortably against the wall behind her.

"I am missing you too jaan, tumhare bina bahut incomplete lag raha hai. I don't even feel like coming home but aai ke liye aata hoon. I can't upset her na." Sameer replied to her with melancholy spreading in his thick voice, causing her to squeeze her eyes tighter.

"Yes, I understand, aai kaisi hai? Theek haina?" Naina asked him in a gentle voice.

"Haa she's fine, unhe bhi tumhari yaad aa rahi hai. She's telling me thodi der pehle ki naina nahi hai toh kitna suna lag raha hai sab kuch, bilkul boring ekdum." He spoke with a small beam on his face, his body settling on the recliner chair kept at their all-time favorite chilling place.
