Naina stepped onto the balcony and was immediately taken aback by what she saw. A slow smile spread across her face as she took in the ethereal surroundings, filled with minimalistic decor that exuded an air of sophistication and elegance. Gone were the glittery, over-the-top decorations that she had expected to see - instead, her husband had chosen to keep things simple and beautiful by arranging a bouquet of fresh, arousing roses and lining small wax candles along the glass grilling. A comfy white mattress was spread out on the floor, complete with two fluffy round cushions and a furry sweet pink quilt.

But what truly took her breath away were the series of strings of lustrous golden lights that her husband had connected against the corners of the balcony, casting a warm and inviting glow over the entire space and turning the dreamy darkness into a magical wonderland.

As Naina took a tour of the balcony, she couldn't help but feel a soft reflection of golden illumination pouring over her face, filling her with a sense of joy and contentment. She had always wanted to decorate their favorite chilling-place with something similar to what Sameer had done tonight, but never quite knew where to start. Every time she thought of arranging a surprise movie night on the balcony, she either forgot about it or felt a lack of good ideas. But now, thanks to her loving husband, their balcony truly felt like a fairytale set-up, with exquisite details and a considerate mindset that made it both simple and pleasing-to-eye.

"Kaisa laga?" Sameer's gentle voice echoed in her ears as he walked closer to her, his loud-calculated footsteps sounding similar to the peaceful music that she had been hearing for years now.

"Khubsurat," Naina replied to him in a deep soft voice that was thickened with ineffable joy and love.

"Tumsey Kam." He giggled, watching the queen of his life admiring the beauty of night that has always fascinated her in every manner. She couldn't help but smile at the moon that peeked at her through the silky black clouds.

"Kab kiya yeh sab?" She asked him in confusion as she turned around to look at her tall husband.

"Jab tum Enaika ko taiyar kar rahi thi, sula rahi thi, ek ghanta laga tumhe yeh sab me, toh maine itne me apna kaam kar diya." Sameer answered her with a sweet smile.

"Wahi main sochu aaj tum Enaika ko ready karne kaise nahi aaye, usually tumhi taiyar karte ho na apni beti ko." Naina chuckled in realization, amazed by her husband's excellent time management.

"Hmm, aana chahta tha lekin aa nahi paya." He let out a dejected sigh, sending a silent apology to his daughter for making her wait a bit longer.

"Thank you for the wonderful surprise, Sameer." She drew his big warm hands closer to hers as she recited in a dulcet voice with an affectionate smile on her small lips, her raw amber eyes drowning into the alluring dark pools of his.

"I have one more surprise for you, jaan. Come, sit down." Sameer was feeling nervous as he sat behind his wife Naina, who was perched comfortably on a soft and plush mattress now on his insistence. He held her hand tightly, trying to calm his racing heart. He had planned a surprise for her and was hoping that she would like it.

Naina was curious and excited to see what her husband had in store for her. She sat quietly, her heart racing with anticipation, wondering what the surprise might be.

Sameer slowly pulled out a velvety maroon box from the pocket of his kurta. He had invested a significant amount of his hard-earned money in this delicate piece of jewelry that he had bought for his wife. He carefully unlocked the box and gazed at the shimmering ornament inside, feeling a sense of satisfaction mixed with nervousness. He was worried about Naina's reaction when she found out how much he had spent on the gift.
