Before you all start thinking when I'll show their anniversary or pregnancy track. Please wait, I've written remaining chapters already so now I couldn't really do anything. I'd just say that the story will end in 30/35 chapters. So wait and watch! :)

Sameer reached home in a delightful mood, eager to meet his mother and wife and spend time with them. He left for the office early in the morning and didn't have breakfast with them, it was upsetting for him and might be for them too, but he had no option. Boss and their urgent and uncalled meetings always irk him.

Raking a quick hand through his wind-blown hair. He gently rang the doorbell, excitedly holding back his breath.

And there the door was unlocked by the woman, the sole stealer of his heart. His whole hectic day transformed into a pleasurable one when he saw how beautifully his wife was smiling at him with a glass of water in her right hand, decked in a simple pale yellow suit with a mild cream color dupatta resting on her left shoulder.

Sameer happily grabbed the glass from her hand, and took just a few sips of liquid when Naina said something shocking and unreal with too much sweetness in her voice that he couldn't help but choke on the water - "Aap jake fresh ho jaiye, main dinner laga deti hoon."

The droplets fell on his shirt and pants, his eyes widened, and his mouth hung open in utter puzzlement and disbelief, asking her in a low voice - "Yeh tumhe mujhe izzat dene ki kaunsi bimaari lagi hai ab?"

Naina deliberately ignored his question, taking the glass from his hand and saying with a sugary smile - "Bahut thake hue lag rahe hai aap aaj, raat ko oil massage kar dungi aapko main." She even took his laptop bag without asking which was unusual, leaving him thoroughly staggered. His heart started to beat violently against his ribcage, forcing him to think if she was practicing being a devoted and respectful wife for the upcoming drama in which she might have participated.

"Kaunse drame me part liya hai tumne jo Pati Ko Itni unbelievable Izzat de rahi ho?" Sameer couldn't help but mock his wife's strange acting, stepping inside the house only to be regarded by a lean woman in her late fifties sitting along with his mother on the sofa, her hair all grey and her eyes full of animation and enthusiasm.

"Yeh kaun hai?" He confusingly asked his wife in a low voice, and she elucidated him - "Yeh wahi aurat hai jisne tumhe paida hone se pehle hi dekh liya tha."

"What?" Sameer exclaimed shockingly, gaining the aunt's attention.

Naina wanted to slap him for misunderstanding her joke, and the new woman he had never seen in his life posed a soft smile, greeting him gently - "Aagaya tu beta, tera hi intezaar kar rahe the hum sab."

Sameer was perplexed yet he went to touch her feet, not forgetting his ethics, smiling forcefully, still thinking if she was there at his wedding or in the village.

"Pehchana mujhe?" The lady asked him with a wide smile, and her question thickened his tension, making Naina silently enjoy the torture he was feeling at this time for not knowing what to say. He nervously licked his lips, itching his clammy scalp, pressurizing his brain to recollect the moment he may have met this enigmatic woman, but he didn't know that this human sitting in front of him saw him only once in a life that too when he was just a year old.

"Pehchoge bhi kaise, tu sirf ek hi saal ka toh tha jab maine tujhe last time dekha." She laughed hysterically for testing his memory power, and Sameer held back his growing annoyance which may reflect on his face soon, tightly grinning at the not-so-funny woman for trying to irk him.

"Yeh meri door ki kaki hai, Padmini Kolhapuri, aaj bahut saalon baad hum mil rahe hai." Savitri introduced her aunt with her miffed son in a soft voice, and he slightly nodded his head.
