On the grand occasion, Sameer had put in an immense effort to present himself in the best possible way. He chose to wear a Japanese black tuxedo that was custom-made by a renowned fashion designer. The tuxedo was tailored to perfection, with every inch of the royal fabric adorned with intricate silver leaves and twirls that added a touch of sophistication and elegance to the attire. He exuded an aura of royalty and grace as he walked through the room, his flaws seamlessly concealed with a simple yet appetizing smile on his curved lips.

His gelled-up hair was meticulously styled, and he occasionally ran his fingers through it to maintain its perfection. As he strolled, he deftly cupped his favorite expensive wristwatch, which was shaped in a round style and had an enchanting white solid dial. The watch ticked past seven with a sound that was music to his ears, reminding him of the importance of time.

Sameer had been sitting in the room, anxiously waiting for the mother-daughter duo to arrive for the Sangeet ceremony. He had been waiting for fifty-five minutes now, and his patience was being tested as he wondered what was taking them so long to get ready.

Earlier, Naina had scolded him for making everyone wait, but now she was the one repeating the same mistake.

He couldn't help but wonder if this was her way of punishing him for making them wait earlier.

The passing minutes felt like centuries to him, and he couldn't help but contemplate how one should never make anyone wait under the guise of false hopes and promises.

"Kaha reh gayi meri dono jaan?" Sameer murmured, barely able to keep his patience in check. He got up once more, pacing the length of the room with his sweaty hands mingled and his restless eyes pinned on his large feet covered with stunning glossy black shoes.

He was feeling quite bored and anxious, so he decided to do something to take his mind off things. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, feeling a sense of displeasure wash over him. Determined to lift his spirits, he began to hum some of his favorite romantic songs, enjoying the melodies and the emotions they evoked. Sameer was not the best singer by any means, as his voice sounded like it was coming through a damaged speaker. However, he was proud of his ability to remember all the lyrics of the songs he loved, even if he couldn't hit every note perfectly. He took pleasure in the fact that he never forgot the words to any of the songs he heard, no matter how difficult they were.

As he hummed along, he felt his worries start to fade away, and he found himself lost in the music.

"Tum bhi ho main bhi hoon."

"Paas aao to keh doon."

"Aakhir kyun pal mein yoon."

"Deewana main ho gaya."

His breath hitched in his throat as a sudden sound of footsteps caught his attention. He turned his head towards the source of the sound and saw two women slowly walking towards him with grace in their traits. His heart skipped a beat as he gazed upon their unbeatable beauty. With each step they took, the sound of their footsteps echoing in the air, his heartbeats raced faster and faster. His eyes locked onto theirs, a look of absolute pleasure and affection reflected in his dark irises, making them feel shy.

A slow, delightful smile spread across his face as he took in their beauty, wondering if they were for real.

"Tumhe jo maine dekha."

"Tumhe jo maine jaana."

"Tumhe jo maine dekha."

"Tumhe jo maine jaana."

"Jo hosh tha woh to gaya."

For a while, Sameer forgot to sing the song but its lyrics were still playing in his mind, making his heart excited and his face full of happiness. They both looked drop-dead gorgeous, in their elegant costumes that were tailored to perfection, he felt himself losing his heart to them.
