Trapped in the beastworld

Alone in a new world

After her owner had died she was alone again, still she did not mind it much, she thought it was time for another adventure, she wanted to find the one she had chosen so that is what she would do. She left the home she had loved for many years, she had papers that she was a free woman and enough gold to last her many, many lifetimes, but she had no use of any of it. She had grown feeling for the people that had served her, she gave them enough gold to last for a long time, the rest she gave to a man, that had served her well and had a kind heart. She had always loved animals the most and so she gave him the rest of her money to build a safe haven for all animals in need. In time that haven grew to be famous and a statue of her was build and she was worshiped as the empress of all lost animals, but that's a story for another time.

After she had given everything she had she started walking, she needed to find a place to meditate in peace without being found and that might take some time, so on she travelled, she travelled alone through melting heat, windy rain and the cold snow but she did not stop, she had to find the right place, she would know when she would find it, until then she enjoyed her journey. She never stopped, she did get tired since she was not used to such hard work but she did not mind it at all, everything was good even the bad, this was all just an experience she would learn from, this is what living is, she thought to herself, content with being one with herself.
After walking for months during all seasons she finally found a suitable place to stop and meditate. It was an abandoned nest so she was sure the owner of this place would not mind. Her outfit was in tether but she paid no attention to it, she made her self a little nest and went into a deep meditation.

She thought only of Apollo, and his home, she wanted to join him and make a family, she did not think to much about what he would want, she did not understand that love was about two willing partners otherwise it was forced, she was not human nor did she truly understand connection between other beings, she only could think of herself.

Months flew by, then years, then decades than at last she woke up after having been sleeping for over one hundred years. She was now in a new place, not the same place she was before, it was nothing like she had seen the human world. The trees had different colours and the air was different, she could not understand clearly how but she knew it was.

She stood up and started to walk again, she walked for a long time and saw no one, she could not hear anything but the sound of the rain falling down on the river on her right, there was no life nowhere, no birds singing, no fishes swimming in the river, there was just nature but no life, still she did not let it deter her, she kept on walking, she would keep on moving until she would find something.

She liked the quiet but she missed having animals around her, it made her sad, she felt that every world should have animals, and she hoped there were some here. Last time when she was in the nothing, she had loved watching this planet, back then it had been filled with life but now she could not find anyone nor anything else but nature, still she was not going to quit, she would find her Apollo, she just needed time to find him.

After walking on this planet for over a year, she finally found something else but nature, she saw ruins of what seemed to have been a city or a town, she walked and examined everything she saw, it looked old but she could still understand that this had been at one time a town, but there was nothing there but cracked dried wood and silence.

She sat down on the ground and took the dry wood in her hand, she was angry and very disappointed, what had happened, what could she do, she stood up again looking defeated but still not ready to quit. She decided to to check everything she could find hoping to find some clue to where everyone was. She even took off her long ruined dress and used it to help dig the dry mud ground, hoping to find anything. She had never been a quitter so she kept on digging and scouring every inch of that place because of her determination she finally found something, she found a skeleton, it had been protected from the wind, rain and snow, it was very old but still it was the only thing she had found. She did not know what to do with it but she wanted to try anything, hoping she could get some answers.

She sat down and held the skeleton in her arms like she was cradling a small child, that skeleton was the only thing of something she had found in this new place and she was not ready to let it go so fast but what could she do, she had no ideas so she just sat there with the skeleton in her arms.

Sorry for not updating sooner, i dont know when i will update again, it might be soon or not, its very strange and it was harder than usual but i did it. I'm not going to promise to update soon because i dont know when i will, but it wont be longer than a month, i know this is short but it was all I could do now, i hope you dont mind.
