Part 129 ~ The downfall of Apollo

As soon as Apollo came from Zeus he commanded his slaves to clean the house and prepare it for the his new wife. While he was busy getting everything ready the beast goddess was doing the same, she was excited, after all this time she would finally meet her beloved and she just could not wait a minute longer.

Cronus went back to escort the goddess to the town, Zeus had made everything ready for her, every god that was alive waited for her arrival and cheered for her as soon as they saw her. They had thought that nothing could match their beautiful goddesses but they were wrong, it felt like if you would stare too long you could get blind and fall into a abyss, her beauty was like no other.

The goddess loved to be adored and smiled happily. She was happy she had brought everyone back, this would now be her new home. Zeus welcomed her at his throne by his side was his queen and on his other side stood Apollo, the one she had been waiting for. She walked to them slowly, she was not in any hurry, she wanted to savour this moment for she wanted this to be a memory she would cherish for all eternity.

Zeus stood up and welcomed her, he took her hand and led her to Apollo, he told her that this would be their wedding and everything was prepared, she smiled shyly and told him she was delighted with the warm welcome. Zeus gave her hand to Apollo and married them, this was just a perfect day, a perfect moment that she had waited for, it was finally happening, this was her moment.

After the wedding Apollo took her to their new home, it was not as grand as Zeus mansion but for her it was perfect, she really did not need to have the biggest or the flashiest things, she just wanted to experience being loved and have a family, that was all that mattered to her.

Centuries passed and her loved stayed just as true, she loved him with every fibre of her being, she cherished him and treated him like her king, at first he was very flattered and loved her attention but as time passed he grew bored, sleeping with the same women for a long time had never been his thing, he was a god of love, god of passion and his passion for her had slowed down, he was bored, of her and their perfect little life. After all this time her belly had yet to catch his seed, he wanted more children and she seemed to be barren, which made him dislike her even more.

It was as Zeus had thought, Apollo could not stay faithful, he started to sneak and have affairs with anyone that took his fancy. Ever since the beasts goddess came to their worlds the gods again could travel to the human world, he had always like to go there for trysts and he could stay for a longer time since time passed slower in the human world. He had build his own mansion in the human world and filled it with his concubines, he had forgotten all about how he had come back to the living but even if he would remember he would not care, he only cared to sate his lust for passion and that is just what he did.

The beast goddess had noticed that Apollo was not as attentive as he had been before, he rarely slept with her and when he did he was usually drunk. The passion for him had never died down so she tried harder to satisfy him but nothing she did would make him happy. She was worried she could not have children, they had slept together for such a long time but nothing moved in her womb, she grew disheartened and did not know what to do, she felt this was the reason why Apollo was dissatisfied with her, but the harder she tried the further he moved from her.

One night she had given him gifts she knew he would like, she let the wine flow easily in his glass and made him drunk enough to finally sleep with her, she had been eating berries from the goddess of fertility. The fertility goddess told her to eat 100 berries a day for three months then make a wine with 14503 berries and feed it to Apollo. The fertility goddess told her to give him the wine on the last day of the year, it would be her best time to conceive. The beast goddess did just as the fertility goddess told her to do. She had gotten help from Zeus to make sure that Apollo would be home, Zeus suggested that the beast goddess would invite him and his queen to their home for dinner, Apollo would have to be there and as soon as he was drunk enough they would leave them alone.

The goddess hated tricking her husband but he no longer wanted to spend time with her, he was never around and this would work best to bring him back to her. Their plan worked, Apollo came home and drank the wine, he god very drunk and his wife made sure to satisfy her husband the best she could. The next day he was cold to her and left, she was in despair, why did he not love her anymore, what had she done to make him treat her so badly, she stayed at her home for two months, licking her emotional wounds.

After two months she found out that she was indeed carrying his seed, they were going to be parents, she was so deliriously happy that she could not stop smiling and laughing. She took great care of her body and her little fetus. She talked to her belly every day, telling it how she could not wait to meet the baby and love it with all her might.

Five months grew by but Apollo did not return, she grew restless and decided she could not wait any longer to find her beloved. She searched everywhere in the god world but found no traces of him so she went down to the human world. As soon as she arrived she went tot her special cave and meditated to find his exact location. It did not take long, her powers had grown more stable since staying in the gods world and what took her a long time before only took minutes now, for that she was very grateful. She had found him, he was not that far from her so she would just find a carriage and go to him.

She found a farmer going to the market, he saw a beautiful, pregnant woman all by herself, this was not a safe world so he stopped and gave her a lift to town. The beast goddess was very thankful and blessed him without him knowing, she blessed him with a happy long life, filled with riches, good deeds do get recognised every now and then.

As soon as they got to the city the two went their separate ways, she smiled at him and waived happily goodbye to him and he did waive back, glad to have helped such a beautiful woman. The beast goddess wanted to surprise him so she put on a cloth Cronus had given her, she would invisible to everyone, she wanted to surprise him but also know what he was doing here, he had left her for such a long time and she was not happy.

She walked into his mansion without being seen, she walked everywhere without seeing him but this was a big place so she calmed herself down. Then she saw the biggest house and she was certain that this was the house he was in, she walked faster, she had not seen him in such a long time, she had missed him so much. As soon as she entered the house she could hear noises she did not like but still she walked towards the sounds. The noises took her to a bedroom, she knew it was a bedroom and she knew what was going on in this bedroom, her hand was on the door, but she did not want to open it, still she could not help herself, the sight she saw broke her heart and spirit. Her Apollo was sleeping with three men, it was vile, he was vile, he was hers, this was just so wrong, the despair, the anger, it just came up, she screamed so loudly that glass splattered everywhere, she took off her cloth and revealed herself.

As soon as Apollo saw her he grew frightened, he had forgotten how powerful she really was, his lovers were only human and could not take the power of her screams so they blew up all over Apollo, it was a grotesque sight, the only living things left in the room was him and the beast goddess. She stared at him, while walking towards him, Apollo was frozen, he could not move nor say anything, he was scared out of his mind but there was no escape for him, she stopped just inch from him and stood still, it felt like hours but were in fact just seconds, after watching for a few seconds she just reacted, she took out his heart and took one bite of it before throwing it to the ground, this was the last thing Apollo saw before dying, her ripping out his heart, eating it and stomping on it. After that Apollo would never live again.
