‼️long time no post! 😅🫣 I'm so sorry I went MIA and this is a meager offering but it's something! It's kinda dark and heavy BUT I have to get the story going in the direction I need it too so I had to write something that could get us there. Love you all lots! Read the warnings please!!!‼️

*The two weeks of Sarah's grounding drag on for Grant. He is throwing himself into training now more than ever, he's actually giving Bucky and Steve a run for their money.*
Bucky- seems like Sarah needs to be grounded more often if we want Grant to actually apply himself to his training. *Bucky jokes and Steve laughs.*
Steve- don't tempt me, *He sighs* Grant already pulled me aside yesterday and asked permission to take Sarah out on a date this Saturday. I was almost tempted to say no just because. *Bucky laughs and looks over at where Grant is running on the treadmill*
Bucky- making him work for her time is good, reminds him how valuable and precious it is. *He pats Steve's shoulder and whistles, Grant stops the treadmill and looks over*
Grant- yeah? *He asks out of breath*
Bucky- hit the shower, you're done for the day. *Grant nods and then looks back at the machine.*
Grant- I have 3 more miles left and then I will have run a marathon. I'm gonna finish that first. *He starts back up and Bucky just laughs and shakes his head. He looks at Steve*
Bucky- he must get that from you cause I sure as hell wouldn't run three more for fun and I know y/n would die at the thought. *Steve laughs and agrees. They leave Grant to his run and head to their own rooms. Bucky is met by a full blown screaming match happening between Winnie and Carson*

Winnie- what did you just say?!
Carson- I said was he is a lousy excuse of a man!!
*Winnie lunges for Carson but Bucky stops her before any real damage can be done.*
Bucky- whoa!! Winnie? Carson? What is going on?!
Winnie- Carson is being a bitch!!
Carson- I'm just trying to help you not get hurt!!
Winnie- stop trying to act like my older sister, you're not!! *Carson takes a breath and looks at Bucky and then shakes her head*
Carson- yeah, you're right I guess I'm not. *Carson leaves the room and goes to find Everly. Bucky yells after her*
Bucky- Carson! Carson Barnes-Rogers come back here! *Shes already gone. Bucky hangs his head and grabs Winnie's shoulder before she can leave too.* talk. Now. *Winnie crosses her arms and shuffles where she stands.*
Winnie- I was talking to Carson about this guy at school who has shown interest in me and asked me out and she totally shot him down. Started going on and on about how he's not right for me and I don't need to date him. Then she insulted him and started trying to tell me how I need to "trust her"- she's 15!! What does she know?!
*Winnie grumbles and Bucky sighs.*
Bucky- she knows far more than you and she's just trying to look out for you. *Winnie rolls her eyes and goes to turn away, Bucky snaps his fingers in front of her to get her attention back.* Nope you're not leaving, look at me. She lived a whole life before she came back here, Winnie. She knows what she's talking about when she's giving you warnings. She's not being mean, she's trying to help you learn the lessons she had to learn the hard way. You need to apologize, now. And for the record, I agree with her, Jackson is lousy and no daughter of mine will be around him alone. What happened to that Brandon guy? The one whose party you went to? He was nice, I liked him.
Winnie- Brandon?! No I mean he was sweet but just no.
Bucky- well maybe you need to look at more "sweet guys"
*Bucky leaves her to think and stew while he goes to shower off after his workout.*
