Injured Souls (Simon Blackquill x Iris & Iris' Sister! Reader)

A/N: This is going to be poly, but Iris and the reader are not involved with each other romantically!

Your Pov:

I sat under a tree in the prison yard, watching as my sister meditated next to me. A few yards away, the male inmates entered into their own yard. A tall, sturdy chain fence separated the two yards. I watched as a familiar dark-haired man entered the yard. I nudged Iris. "Simon's out today. Come on." Iris opened her eyes and smiled. "I've missed him." The two of us approached the fence and waited in front of it. Simon made his way over a few minutes later, Taka on his shoulder. "I know it's been a while."

Iris smiled at him. "It's alright. We heard that you were in solitary a week ago. How are you?" Simon scoffed. "Solitary is the only peace and quiet around here. These blowhards think it's a punishment, but I call it a gift." I sighed. "Still, being in solitary means less time for us to see you."

He smirked. "So you admit that you like me?" I rolled my eyes. "In your dreams, Prosecutor Blackquill. Iris and I are still temple nuns. We've made our vows." Iris hummed. "Yes, but I'm sure Sister Bikini would release us from them." I shrugged. "Who knows..."

Just then, one of the guards came over to us. "You two, Hawthornes, away from the fence." Iris and I looked at each other. We had problems with this same guard before, but never said anything. His name was Eman Pred'Ater, but the inmates referred to him as 'Officer Pred'Ater'.

I looked at Simon. "We'll see you tomorrow, Simon." Simon nodded. "Alright. Be careful ladies." As Simon turned to walk away, Officer Pred'Ater spoke. "Ladies, I can get you some time with Blackquill...if you do me a few favors." I rose a brow. "Favors?" I knew what he was insinuating, but I wanted to know for sure.

He smirked. "Well, the two of you are rather good looking and I'm sure you've never had lovers. What do you say, ladies?" A voice, cold and sharp, spoke up.

"Taking advantage of the inmates? Just how pathetic of a guard are you?"

Simon was back at the fence.

He whistled and Taka flew at the man, attacking him. I turned to Simon. "Thank you, Simon." Iris nodded. "Yes, thank you." He shook his head. Don't thank me. I'll make sure he is taken care of." I grabbed Iris and pulled her away, following the others inside.

...

(Timeskip...)

Iris and I stood in the courthouse, waiting for the results of Simon's trial. It had been 4 years for us and 7 for Simon. In that time, we had gotten closer. Iris and I, we bonded over our love for Simon instead of letting it drive us apart.

Iris paced the floor, a hand on her magatama. I spoke, catching her attention. "Everything will be fine, Iris. At the end of the day, we will all be together." She sighed. "I hope so." Just then, the courtroom doors opened.

Simon stepped out, followed by the chief prosecutor. The two exchanged a few words before the chief prosecutor unlocked Simon's shackles. As soon as he was gone, Iris and I rushed into his arms. He chuckled. "I missed the both of you too." Without thinking, I leaned up and kissed him. He kissed back immediately.

Once I pulled away, Iris kissed him. Once she pulled away from him, I could see the blush on his face. He cleared his throat. "Ah...What about your vows?" I smiled. "Sister Bikini relieved us of them." Iris spoke up, blushing a bit. "In exchange for grandchildren, she said." Simon hummed. "And you both are alright with our arrangement?"

I nodded. "All Iris and I have ever done since we were little is share. So we don't mind." Iris smiled. "There's no one I'd trust more than (Y/n)."

Simon pulled us close. "Then I believe I owe the two of you a proper date. How does udon or soba sound?"

Iris and I smiled at each other before looking at him.

"Perfect."

"It sounds wonderful."
