Love Poison PT. 2

No One's Pov:

Larry had seen the fair attorney during one of his many escapades. He instantly fell in love with her, sending her gifts, drawings, letters, etc. Though she never replied or sought him out. He shrugged it off, thinking that she was just busy. After all, who wouldn't want a guy like him?

He tried over and over to see her, but he was turned away by her servants each time. And so, he admired her everytime she went to work on a case.

But one day, all that changed.

Miles Edgeworth, or Edgy, as he called him, came to visit (Y/n) in order to discuss a case. And Larry decided that this was his chance to sneak in and see (Y/n).

The servants door was being used as cooks went in and out, preparing various dishes. Larry put on a spare servants uniform and slipped inside. He eventually found a small room with a very small window that looked into the dining room.

He stared with lovestruck eyes as he took in her appearance. Beautiful (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes with a flawless complexion to match. He sighed and rested his head on his palms.

Then, he watched as (Y/n) and the guest drank a strange liquid. Everything happened so quickly.

Then, the head chef knocked him out of his stupor, "Hey! What are you doing in here?" Larry snapped around to see the chef standing there. The chef frowned, "You don't work here. I recognize everyone who has a job in my kitchen. And you certainly aren't one of them." Larry made up a lie.

"I-I'm new! J-Just hired since they needed more help with the preparations for the visit."

Larry held his breath, thanking his lucky stars that he was a practiced liar.

The head chef stared at him for a moment before speaking, "Well we don't pay you to sit around, gawking at the diners. The mistress requested that all personal be vacated out of the kitchen at this point in the dinner. Now you better-" They were cut off by someone calling them. As they left, they called back to Larry, "Now get out." Larry ignored them.

He made his way back to the small window, watching and listening. He heard Edgeworth speak, "I love you." He heard (Y/n), "Good." Larry brought a hand to his mouth.

No!

He couldn't let Edgy take away (Y/n)!

It was then that he realized that Edgeworth was not himself.

Edgeworth had drank a love potion.

As Larry continued to watch, he realized something...

He was more in love with her than ever.

He watched as (Y/n) finished her questioning and sent Edgeworth on his way. He saw her move the rug and reveal the trap door under it. As she walked down into the darkness, Larry exited the kitchen and slipped inside the trap door just as it closed. He followed her quietly and ducked behind a nearby shelf when they arrived at a large room filled with potions and glass bottles.

He watched as she filled the caldron, making a checklist of the ingredients in his mind. When she finished, she poured the liquid into some bottles before locking them away into a cabinet with a key around her neck.

He knew that he needed to get his hands on some of that potion. He waited for her to leave the room, thinking to himself.

"It might be the only way I can get her to love me."

Once he was a hundred percent sure she was gone, he came out from his hiding spot and approached the caldron. He grabbed the ingredients and got to work. However, the end result was a bit thick and a little too powerful, since Larry forget to dilute it with water.

Then a thought occurred to him. He knew (Y/n)'s schedule too well and knew that she always had orange juice with her honey on toast.

He grabbed some orange dye and orange juice he found and dumped it into the caldron.

He filled an empty bottle full of it before placing the bottle in the bag he brought with him.

Then, as he was searching for an exit, he stumbled across a calendar. The top was labeled ''Potion Intake Amount'. (Y/n) was making herself immune to the potion's effects. That's why she was fine when she drank it.

Larry eventually found another door that led to the garden. He smiled as he gripped the bottle in his bag.

Everything was finally falling into place...
