Taka woke up and perched on my shoulder, watching the door intently. Another knock sounded and I grabbed my phone. I pulled up Simon's contact and called him. It rang for a few minutes before he picked up, "Hello?" I spoke quietly as the knocks became bangs, "Simon, I need you to call the police or come here! I think that man's found me." I heard Simon's keys jingle over the line, "I'm coming. Where are you?"

I paused, "...I'm sitting on the bed watching the door. Taka's on my shoulder." He sighed, "Go into the bathroom and lock the door. Do you have your taser?" I mentally cursed myself, "No. I forgot it at home." I went into the bathroom and locked the door before sitting against the tub.

"I'm scared, Simon." He spoke softly, "I'll be there soon, (Y/n). If he gets in, I want you to scream as loud as you can. Hopefully, it will alert the staff." I swallowed the lump in my throat, "O-Ok...Oh my god! He came in!" I heard the man calling out to me, "Come out (Y/n). I love you. I just want to be with you." I could hear him opening the closet and searching under the bed. Simon's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, "I'm almost there (Y/n). Just stay quiet."

I didn't answer.

I heard the man stop in front of the bathroom door. Then, he spoke, "I know you're in there, (Y/n). Now come out. I want to take you to our new home." I started to sob silently, phone shaking in my grasp. Simon called out to me, "Don't open that door (Y/n). Where is the bloody staff?! I'm sure they've heard something by now." I froze as the doorknob jiggled, the lock keeping the door from opening. The man started banging on the door as he jiggled the knob.

Then, the thing that I'd dreaded the most in this situation happened.

The door creaked open slowly. Simon was saying something to me, but I was too scared to listen. The man stepped into the bathroom. He looked to be slightly older than Simon. He had black, greasy hair and bloodshot eyes. He stepped towards me, a grin ever so slowly appearing on his face. Taka let out a menacing screech and flew towards the man, talons aiming for his face. The man swung an object in his hand at him. It was a metal baton.

It hit Taka in the side. Taka screeched and hit the ground. He dragged himself to me as the man got closer. I dropped my phone and the man grabbed me. I screamed as loud as I could, hoping, praying that someone would hear me. While the man was distracted by that, I grabbed my phone and shoved it into my bra, the only place he (hopefully) wouldn't check. I fought back with everything I had as the man dragged me out of the hotel room. The staff was no where to be found as he dragged me through the lobby and outside into the night.

As I struggled, he stopped at the back of the parking lot. A car pulled up in front of the hotel.

Simon's car.

As he got out, I went to scream again, but the man covered my mouth. As soon as Simon disappeared into the building, the man spoke, "I love you, (Y/n). Don't you get that? I won't let him take you away again!" Then, I felt a searing, burning, white hot pain in my hip as he brought down the metal baton hard enough to dislocate my right hip. My scream was muffled by his hand and as I passed out, I heard him speak one last time.

"You're mine and I'm never letting you go..."
