Your Pov:

From a young age, I had wanted to be a dancer. I pursued that dream and became a professional dancer. However, when I wasn't on stage, I was very clumsy. It was strange. I could do all sorts of complicated moves on stage, but just fall over in day to day activities. When, I got together with my boyfriend, Apollo, I didn't tell him I was a dancer.

He thought my clumsiness was cute and never thought anything negative about it. Today, Apollo was out on an investigation and I was bored. I grabbed my dance bag and left to the studio. I had a performance coming up and I needed to practice. Once I got there, I went into the bathroom and changed into my dance clothes.

I put my hair up and headed into the empty studio. I connected my phone to the speaker and my music started.

I closed my eyes, pretending I was dancing for an audience. I moved to the rhythm, my feet carrying me across the floor silently. The music came to a stop as I hit my end pose.

I did this for a few weeks while Apollo was at work. The performance went perfectly. At home, I was my clumsy self, bumping into walls and tables non-stop. I was on the sofa, watching TV while Apollo worked on some files next to me. He turned to me, "What do you do when I'm at work? I mean, the apartments' clean all the time and our cat is low maintenance, so..."

I bit my lip, "Oh, um, I go on walks to wherever my feet carry me." He looked at me for a moment, then nodded, "Alright. Just don't hurt yourself when you're out. You know how clumsy you are." After that, we went back to what we were doing.

The next day, Apollo left for work again. Right after, I left to the studio, my duffle bag hanging from my shoulder. Once at the studio, I got changed and headed into an empty studio. I hooked up my phone again and started the music.

I let the music carry me as I danced. Dancing was my freedom and safe haven. It made me feel free.

I hit my pose and the music faded. I jolted up as I heard clapping. I looked up, spotting Apollo leaning against the doorframe. He spoke, "Why didn't you tell me you could dance like that?" I blushed, "Because it's embarrassing." He approached, "Why?" I shook my head, "I'm clumsy outside of dancing and a dancer is not supposed to be clumsy." He smiled, "But I like that about you. It makes you unique."

He gestured to my shoes, "And you have a good taste in color." I shoved his shoulder playfully, "Alright, alright. Let me get changed and then we can head home, or work, in your case." Apollo jumped, "I'm going to be late! I'll see you at home! Love you!"

He kissed me then bolted out of the studio. I giggled and shook my head.

'Only you, Apollo. Only you...'
