A/N: Trigger for stalking and panic attacks. Be careful!

Your Pov:

I woke up on the sofa, my head in Simon's lap. His hand was petting my hair as he spoke to someone on the phone, "I don't care what you do, I just want it done. And if it's not done, you know bloody well what will happen, don't you?" The other person answered and he replied, "Good. Now get to it." He hung up the phone. I spoke softly, "W-What happened?"

He looked down at me, "You had a panic attack and passed out, love." He held the letter in his hand, "I don't wish to alarm you, but somehow, that man managed to escape his cell. He's on the loose." I started to shake. Simon gently sat me in his lap, "Don't worry. He'll have to get through me first before I'd ever let him get close to you. I have all the detectives investigating now and they're sending an officer to watch around here."

I stood, "I think...I think I'm going to go to a hotel, Simon." He spoke, "(Y/n), I don't want you to leave my sight. It's too dangerous." I sighed and shook my head, "I'm not asking Simon. I'm telling you." Taka flew onto my shoulder and I headed upstairs. I grabbed my suitcase and started packing my essentials. By the time I was finished, I noticed Simon standing in the doorway. I spoke, "I'll call you when I get there. Don't worry." He paused, "Who said I was staying here?" I bit my lip.

"I just need to be alone right now Simon. I think I'll go crazy if I stay here another minute." He tried to call for Taka, but he wouldn't go. He tried to grab Taka from my shoulder, but Taka screeched and pecked at his hands when they came close. I picked up my bag, "I'll take care of him. Now, I have to go. I love you." I quickly went to my car and put my suitcase in the trunk. I got into the driver's seat and Taka moved the the passenger seat. I drove to a hotel called the 'Gatewater' and got a room.

I started unpacking my stuff and that's when I noticed the envelope stuck in my private journal. I pulled it out with shaking hands and opened it, mentally preparing myself for the letter I knew was inside.

Dear (Y/n),

Do you see what you’ve done (Y/n)? DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU’VE DONE? I woke up at 8 am to see you franticly packing your bags, I was confused at first, but then I understood. You were leaving me. You don’t love me. You don’t love me.

How could you do this to me (Y/n)?

You were the only thing I wanted in life. I had nothing else to live for, but when I first met you I saw a shimmer of hope. I thought that I’d finally have reason to wake up in the morning and go on with my shitty life. And you went and threw that away.

How could you do this to me (Y/n)?

I dropped the letter to my side as I emptied the contents of my stomach into the trash can. Taka tilted his head at me, watching from the bed. I put the envelope and letter back into my suitcase and sat on the bed. Taka hopped into my lap and looked at me. I gently stroked his head, "I think I'm going to call Simon, Taka." I grabbed my phone and called Simon. As expected, he picked up right away.

"Hello? (Y/n), did you get to the hotel safe?" I paused, "I did and I found, um...nevermind." He huffed, "(Y/n), what did you find?" I looked at Taka, "Nothing. I love you. Bye." I quickly hung up. I laid in bed, distracting myself with crappy movies as Taka perched on the pillow next to me.

A few hours had passed and now it was 9:00 pm. I had drawn the curtains closed and made sure the door was locked all the way up to the chain. Taka was asleep on his makeshift perch as I laid awake on my phone.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and I heard a low voice.
