Unethical But Right (Simon Blackquill x Athena's Sister! Reader)

A/N: The reader is Athena's younger sister by a year. She's 17. Now, before you guys attack me, hear me out. Athena is 18 in Dual Destinies, but people still ship her with Blackquill, who's 28.

Your Pov:

I got up out of bed and started my morning routine. Today, I started my job as Simon's assistant. I got in my closet and pulled out the dress Simon had given me when he was released from prison. I also pulled out some heels and got ready.

I put my hair up and did some light make up before heading down to the kitchen. Athena was already there, enthusiastically making breakfast. She turned to look at me, "Ooh, look at you! Trying to impress someone?" I blushed, "No Athena! I start my job today, remember?" She giggled, "Oh yeah! With Simon huh?" Suddenly, she got serious, "Are you trying to impress him?" I stayed silent.

She sighed, "(Y/n), I don't think you should get involved, romantically, with Simon. He's a good guy, but, you're still so young."

(I'm using the American standard of 18 = legal adult here.)

She continued, "Your heart yearns to be near him. I can hear that much. But try to stay professional, ok?" I nodded, "Ok, Thena. Let's go before we're late." We rushed out the door. Athena dropped me off in front of the prosecutor's office and sped off. I took a deep breath and headed inside. I got up to Simon's office and knocked on the door. His low voice came from within, "Come in." I stepped in, shutting the door behind me.

"Good morning Simon." He looked up at me, pausing, ".....Good morning." I smiled, "What are we working on today?" I sat in the chair in front of the desk. He passed me a folder, "Today it's the murder of a college student and the suspect is thought to be his girlfriend." I looked over the file, "Cause of death thought to be severe head trama caused by a blunt object. No weapon was found on the scene, but the suspect had no such weapon on their person. However..."

I continued, "The suspect was carrying a backpack with her at the time that went unchecked." Simon growled, "Those bloody idiots!" He stood, "Let's go investigate the scene." We left the office and headed over to the crime scene. The scene was an alley behind a school. There was blood splatter on the walls and the body hadn't be moved yet. I paused in my step, the blood splatter bringing back some unwanted memories.

"T-Thena...?"

"I'm going to fix her."

"Thena wait!"

Warm blood hit my face. The door opened.

Simon.

"Hurry now, little ones. We have to go."

"M-Mom...!"

I snapped back to reality when Simon's hand touched my shoulder, "Are you alright?" I nodded, "I'm fine. Let's investigate." During the investigation, Simon watched me like a hawk. An officer approached him, "Prosecutor Blackquill, the suspect's backpack has disappeared. It's no where to be found." He frowned, "I want it found as soon as possible or your neck will know my blade."

The officer paled and hurried away. I started the search for the bag. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something glint in the dark alley way. In the corner, covered in trash, was the bag. Something was shining inside of it. I called back to Simon, "Simon! I found the bag!" He came over to me, "At least you're more useful than those dotards. Let's see it." I slipped on some gloves from my satchel and pulled the bag out. Blood had completely stained one of the corners.

I opened it, revealing a heavy golden baton. One side had blood dried on it. Simon smirked, "There's our definitive evidence." He turned to the forensics officer, "Get this checked for fingerprints." The officer nodded, "Yes sir!" I handed off the baton. After that, we headed back to the office. It was dark and time to go home. Athena was stuck at the office. I sighed, "Ok Thena. I'll walk then. It's fine." I hung up the phone. Simon looked at me.

"I can take you home. Walking at night just wouldn't do." I blushed slightly, "O-Ok. Thanks." We packed up our things and left for home. The car ride was comfortably silent. Once we arrived at my house, he walked me to the door. I smiled, "Thanks Simon. I'll see you tomorrow." He looked at me, "Don't be late." I looked at him, my heart beating quickly. He stared back. He stepped closer. I stepped back, bumping into the wall next to the front door.

He placed his hands on the sides of my head. He leaned in slowly, and kissed me. I closed my eyes and kissed back. I felt his hands grip my wrists pinning them over my head. The kiss intensified. He let go of my wrists and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He started kissing along my neck and collar bone. I could feel him leaving hickeys on the skin. Suddenly, the front door opened. Athena stepped out of the house, "(Y/n), get inside."

I pulled away from Simon and went in the house. Athena spoke to him, "I can hear your heart Simon, but I can't let this happen. She's young and vulnerable. I don't want her to get hurt. And she's 17 Simon. She's not even a legal adult yet." Simon sighed, "Cykes-dono, I understand your concern, but it's not your decision. It's (Y/n)'s." Athena spoke sharply, "Leave Prosecutor Blackquill. Now."

I watched from behind the curtain as Simon made his way back to his car and left. I hurried up to my room, knowing Athena would come scold me. A few minutes later, Athena came in, "(Y/n), I told you not to get romantically involved with him. Now look at you." She pointed towards my vanity mirror. I followed her gaze. The skin under my jaw to my collar bones was covered in hickeys.

She shook her head, "I'll cover them tomorrow, but if today repeats itself again, I'll take matters into my own hands." I bowed my head, "Ok Thena." Later that night, when I was in bed, Simon called. I answered it, "Hello?" He spoke, "I apologize for tonight." I cut him off, "Don't. I...I enjoyed it. But, I'm sorry about Athena. She just doesn't want to lose me like we lost mother." He was silent for a moment.

"...She only wants to protect you. But, I can't help but being intrigued by you (Y/n)." I smiled, "I feel the same way Simon. But, maybe this conversation should be saved for tomorrow." He chuckled, "Well, good night love." I blushed, "Good night Simon." I hung up the phone and went to bed with a soft smile on my face.
