BNHA Chapter 291

**Caution! BNHA Chapter 291 spoilers!!!**

So I just saw the newest chapter leaks and I am still processing. Like, Toya/Dabi is coming for Endeavor and he won't be holding back.

By the way, I see people spell Dabi's birth name both Toya and Touya. I know that Toya is what the wiki page says, but I see it being spelt Touya too.

Anyways, in this chapter, everything is falling to crap. Hawks just got totally called out for all of Japan to see and they're still seeing everything else too. We also get backstory for Dabi's quirk and this is for all of the red vs white hair people:

His hair is dark in the flashback, suggesting red hair. So, since the official manga shows that, his hair turned white over time from the stress. It was not an animation mistake. I personally prefer the red hair but the white hair adds on to how much Dabi's trauma has hurt him.

Anyways, if this Dabi arc doesn't end with Endeavor 6 feet under or in prison, I will lose my crap. I am not kidding. As for Dabi, I would like to see redemption, but I would also be fine with something else as well.

For example, Dabi fights Endeavor and defeats him, finally being able to move on from the trauma and abuse. But he doesn't want to go back to the family. He does talk to his mom, Natsuo, Shoto, and Fuyumi, but decides that it's better if he doesn't stay. Everyone says their peace and Dabi goes back to the LOV. However, the LOV (Under Dabi's lead if Shigaraki is done for) decides to go from villain to anti-hero. They turn their focus from killing all heroes to only killing those like Endeavor.

I say this because Dabi may not want redemption in the way we think. He does not want pity or sympathy. He wants to use what was done to him to reveal how messed up hero society is. And on the topic of hero society and how messed up it is...

Let's talk about quirk marriages. Specifically Enji and Rei's. From the beginning, the marriage was doomed to fail. Ice and Fire are powerful, but together, they cause weakness. As seen with Toya/Dabi, he inherited a fire quirk but was born with a body suited for an ice quirk. Both Natsuo and Fuyumi were born with neutral quirks despite their parents' powerful quirks. And Shoto isn't perfect either.

He does use both his fire and ice quirk, but it is stated that he does get fatigued if he uses them too much. However, Shoto can regulate his body temperature unlike his father.

So the quirk marriage only resulted in  the offspring being very weak with strong quirks being found only in the oldest and youngest, essentially leaving the middle children with weak quirks and constitutions.

And ISTG if Dabi dies in this arc, I will lose all hope for the rest of 2020! I relate to Dabi on a personal level and losing him would kill me inside.

Don't come at me for simping for Dabi.

If you want a reason that I simp for him, I have only one.

"I simp for them because of what has been done to them."

Like, I cry when I see the tik toks of 'What would MHA characters do if you touched their face?' Especially if they show the flinch. I immediately start being like 'No, no, it's ok. It's just me. It's alright...' I know that feeling of fear you have in that moment before you finally realize they're not going to hurt you.
