I looked in the mirror as I sat in my dressing room. I felt dead inside. Working a job I hated and keeping it a secret to keep my relationship. Today, we had a very big celebrity. They apparently had ties to the royal family. I felt bad for lying to Nahyuta, but I needed this job. I got up and got dressed, preparing for my dance.

I was assigned to the celebrity since my boss decided I was the best fit. I sighed before heading out to the stage. I waited behind the curtains. I heard the door open, then close. I heard a voice, "You are quite generous, but-" My boss cut them off, "Please, my prince, we have only the best for you." I didn't need to hear the title to know the voice. It was Nahyuta. I started to shake slightly.
The lights dimmed and my boss came behind the curtain. She whispered to me, "Don't disappoint me." I nodded silently. The music started and I walked onto the stage. I swayed my hips as I walked. I locked eyes with Nahyuta and froze on the spot. He stared at me, a hand clutching his prayer beads. His eyes never wandered from my face.
I quickly turned and bolted off the stage. I ran past my boss and straight into my dressing room. I locked the door and took off my costume. I put on some comfortable clothes and grabbed my bag. I needed to get out of here. I put my ear up to the door, but heard nothing. I quickly opened it and rushed down the hall to the back exit. Just as I stepped outside, I heard my dressing room door open.
Once outside, I ran. I ran all the way to my room inside the palace. On the way, I bumped into Rayfa. She looked at me, "You look upset. Has braid head done something?" I shook my head, "No, but if he asks about me, don't tell him I'm in my room, ok?" She nodded, "Fine." I got to my room and collapsed on my bed. I laid there for a while, thinking of how Nahyuta might see me now. He's probably disgusted.
Just then, there was a knock at my door. I heard Nahyuta's voice, "(Y/n), please come out." I stayed silent. He spoke again, "I love you. I just want to talk." I stood and walked towards the door. I unlocked it. I went back to my bed. Nahyuta opened the door and stepped inside. He shut it behind him. He approached the bed, "My love, please don't shut me out. I just want to know...why?" I looked at him, "Why what?" He sighed, "Why you put yourself through that for what little money it gives." I looked away.
"I...I needed to get medicine for my family. And at the time, I didn't want to get you involved or ask you for money. I just needed to get one more bottle of medicine and I'd be done. That was supposed to be today, but..."
He gripped my hands, "I don't blame you for wanting to help your family, but you can always come to me. I love you and this, isn't going to change that, but I want you to quit. I will buy the medicine for you, my love." I smiled and hugged him, "Thank you Yuta. I love you." He hugged back.
