This is volume 2 to my first Ace Attorney One Shots Book!
If you haven't read that book yet, you should go read it because certain chapters will not make sense if you don't!
Thank you!
I stood outside the courtroom with Rayfa as we waited to be called in. Ever since the incident, Rayfa has been distant. I put a hand on her shoulder, "I will take over the Divination Seance if you wish." She shook her head, "No. I am mature enough to handle it." Just then, we were called into the courtroom. As we took the stand, his magistry spoke, "Your Prominence, Your Benevolence, thank you coming today."
Rayfa was silent. I spoke, "There is no need to thank us, your magistry. We are only here to find the truth." Mother pushed Rayfa to do the Seance, but Rayfa was hesitant. Then, she frowned, "I'll do it." I removed her cape and the Seance began. Rayfa danced around the pool, but at the end, it showed nothing. I watched Rayfa as she began to breath heavily.
Then, she collapsed.
I moved to her side, "Rayfa!" His magistry spoke, "Bailiff! Take her benevolence and prominence to the first aid infirmary! Quickly!" The bailiff approached and bowed to me before picking up Rayfa. As I turned to walk out, mother spoke, "(Y/n), your sister has failed. I want you to do the Divination Seance." I continued walking away, "No. Rayfa is my priority now." I glanced at Nahyuta, silently apologizing.
'I'm sorry...brother...'
Ga'ran was not my real mother, I knew that. Dhurke and Queen Amara were my parents. Nayuhta's and Rayfa's as well. And since Nayuhta no longer upheld his position in the revolution, I took matters into my own hands. The mark of the Defiant Dragons was etched into my skin.

(I know it's not the exact mark, but just go with it.)
Father himself put it on my back. I made sure that no one ever saw it. I made sure that I had no servants help me dress or bathe and that my cape was always on when I wore a low back or backless dress.
The revolution was coming.
The trail continued and when I returned it was complete chaos. Nahyuta was at the stand. Suddenly, he unclipped his glove, and tossed it away. He showed his hand, the black dragon tattoo still where I remembered it. Ga'ran gasped. I approached the stand, "A dragon never yields!" I turned and dropped my cape to the ground. Everyone gasped. I turned to Nahyuta and Apollo, "It is up to you two now."
I looked at Nahyuta, "Father is proud of you. I know it." Then, I was ushered out of the room by a bailiff. Time passed and after hours of nervousness, the trial ended. Ga'ran was dethroned and taken into custody. The lawyers came out, but I waited for Nahyuta. He eventually joined the lawyers. Rayfa came not long after. I grabbed her hand, "Come on. Let's go talk to brother." She nodded. We walked over.
I spoke, "Brother... I've missed you." He turned to us. Rayfa spoke, her face red, "B-Big b...b...b..." I smiled, "Rayfa missed you too, Nahyuta." I hugged him, a lone tear escaping. He embraced me, his hand tracing my dragon tattoo. I pulled back, "S-Sorry." He smiled, "It's alright." He continued, "But, when did you join the rebellion?" I sighed, "When I turned 15, I knew my purpose. I found out when I stumbled into father sneaking into the palace. He told me of the coming revolution. That's when."
I continued, "A few months after that, I asked father to give me my own dragon tattoo. And he did. He made it red to signify the rebellion's interception of the royal family. My duty as a Defiant Dragon was to find anything I could on Ga'ran and to help those who needed it. Then, I'd report my findings to father." He nodded, "All these years I thought I was protecting you, you were risking your life everyday to help others."
I smiled, "That is the past. For now, let us celebrate the revolution!"
