Your Pov:

A few days later, I had packed up a few things in some boxes, but I had no luck finding an apartment. Ema was with me, helping me pack. She sighed, "You need to tell him. Whether he helps you with the baby or not, I know he'll let you stay with him until you find a place to go. I shook my head, "I can't. It's not his problem."

Just then, there was a knock at the door. Ema got up and walked to the door, leaving me in my bedroom. The door opened and she spoke, "Oh. It's you. Come in. She's in her room."

Then, I heard Klavier's voice, "What's with all the boxes?" She said nothing but I heard their footsteps coming towards my room. I put another picture in the box, turning to Klavier as he entered the room, "Oh, uh, hey."

He looked at me, "You're moving out of your apartment fraulein?" I nodded, "No choice. The building's getting demolished." He looked around my room, "Have you found a place to go?" I felt Ema's eyes on me as I answered, "Y-Yeah. I have..."

Ema spoke, "That's bull and you know it. And since you won't tell him, I will." She continued, "She has no where to go. She needs to find a place." Klavier's eyes met mine, "Why didn't you tell me? I care about you and your child too, fraulein." I snapped at him, "This child isn't your responsibility anymore. You've signed away your rights. And I don't need your help. I can do this on my own."

He smirked, "You clearly haven't looked through those papers clearly, have you?" I huffed, "I've looked through them countless times." He shook his head, "Clearly not. Check the binder over there." I picked up the binder from the shelf and opened it.

I signed the paper saying that I couldn't get an abortion, give up the baby, or put it up for adoption. He signed the paperwork saying I had full rights to make all doctor's appointments and ultrasound appointments whether he would come or not. I flipped the page.

The paper saying he had no rights to the baby or to be in the baby's life, was unsigned. This paper was supposed to be proof that he wouldn't be in my child's life. But it wasn't signed. I dropped the binder, papers scattering. I turned to him.

"So what? You think that just because you didn't sign means I'm going to just take your help? Not happening." He sighed, "That's my child as much as it is yours. And I should have told you before this even happened, but, I'm in love with you. I thought that, if I couldn't be with you, I could at least make you happy." I looked down.

I got up and walked to the doorway, "I...I need some time to think." I rushed out of the apartment, paying no mind to the shouts of Klavier and Ema behind me. He confessed to me, but that scared me. I wanted to have this baby, but I didn't want a commitment to a boyfriend or husband. I wanted it to just be me and my baby. But now, I don't know what to think.
