Disagreement (Miles Edgeworth x Reader)

A/N: The reader and Edgeworth are already dating. The reader is getting ready to go to a party with her friends and that's where the disagreement starts.

Your Pov:

I sat at my vanity, touching up my hair and make up one last time. I heard the front door open and close, letting me know that Miles was home from work. I walked out of our room and headed towards the living room. I spotted Miles shrugging his coat off. I approached him, "Welcome home." He looked at me, a faint, almost unnoticeable smile on his face, "Hello, (Y/n). What are you dressed up for?"

I smiled, "I'm going to a party with a couple of friends." He tilted his head, "Your female friends, right?" I nodded, "Yeah. Just them." I looked at the clock, noting the time, "Oh, I have to get dressed!" He spoke, "Once you get dressed, come show me." I hurried back to our room and shut the door, changing into my outfit.

I looked in the mirror, smiling at how good I looked. I left the room, my heels clicking on the floor as I walked. I stepped into the living room where Miles sat, going over some work stuff. I cleared my throat, "Well?" He turned to me. He paused and then spoke, "Do you have another top?" I looked at him, "Why?" He sighed, "It's just...it's too visible!" I tilted my head, "What does that even mean?" He hesitated.

"...Your cleavage. It's too visible. Just change. Please." I spoke up, "I think the top's cute. And it's just going to be me and my friends. Don't worry." He frowned, "(Y/N), I respect you and I respect your decisions, but I won't say it again. Go change." I scoffed, "I'm a grown adult. I don't need your approval to wear a shirt." He sighed, "Either you go change yourself, or I will. And if I had my way, I'd leave you in nothing and have you screaming all of the dirty things you'd like me to do to you so loudly that your friends will hear it from down the street."

(I feel like I'm going to see so many 'But what if I like that?' comments! Not judging!)

I turned and walked back down the hallway, a bright blush prominent on my face. I went and changed into a different shirt, but hid the first shirt in my purse. I grabbed my phone and purse and went back to the living room, "Better?" He nodded, "Good girl. Be back before it gets too late. And don't talk to other men. I love you." I smiled, "Ok, I love you too."

I walked outside and headed to the party with my friends. Once there, I changed back into my original shirt, which my friends loved, and started partying. I drank a bit, but made sure to block off my texts to avoid any drunken texts or photos. After a few more drinks however, I forgot this rule and took some pictures before posting them on my social media.

They featured me in my original shirt with my female friends and one was of me and my only guy friend, who was gay. In that one, his hand was on my waist, but in a friendly way. Nothing about it was romantic.

I also forgot that Miles had access to my social media.

I'm in for a heck of a time when I get home!
