Your Pov:

I paced around the dining room, my dress sweeping the floor. Today, prosecutor Miles Edgeworth would be visiting to discuss a case. The cooks in the kitchen were busy with cooking.

An hour later, he arrived. I greeted him, "Welcome. I've been looking forward to your visit, Mr. Edgeworth." He nodded, "As have I." I lead him to the table, taking a seat at one end while he took the other. A few minutes later, some servants brought the meal to the table. As we ate and spoke, plates were brought in and out.

At the end of the meal, I stood. I opened a cabinet to the right of the table, pulling out some glasses and a bottle. I turned back to the table.

I set the glasses down on the table before pouring an equal amount of liquid in both. I handed one to Mr. Edgeworth. I spoke.

"Before we discuss the important matters in the other room, let us toast to the betterment of this case."

I brought the glass to my lips, watching as he started to drink as well. Then, the glass fell to the floor, breaking on contact. I watched as he writhed in his chair for a few minutes. He managed to lift his head and glare at me. I smiled, "Ah, you're a tough one, aren't you? It usually does not take this long for the potion's effects to take hold."

He groaned, "What have you done to me?" Then, he became still as a statue. His eyes glowed the same shade as the potion. A whisp of smoke escaped his lips and mingled with the smoke that left mine before dissipating into the air. Edgeworth blinked, his eyes returning to normal and a smile began to appear on his face.

"I love you."

He stared into my eyes, "Oh, you're so lovely. I love you so much..."

I grinned.

"Good."

I questioned him for a few hours, pulling every bit of information out that I could. He answered without hesitation since I 'promised' to love him if he told me everything.

The prosecutor's office even...

Once I finished, I took out an antidote from the cabinet, forcing down his throat. The antidote also wiped the consumer's memories from the last 3 hours. I quickly put everything away as he slowly came back to reality.

He still believed that the dinner had ended and that we had finished with the case.

I put on a fake smile as I walked him to the door. Once he was gone, the smile fell, only to be replaced by a small smirk.

The servants left and I moved the rug in front of the cabinet, revealing a pull up door. I opened it, walking down the stairs and letting it close as I walked into the darkness.

At the bottom of the stairs was my potion room. A large caldron sat in the middle with cabinets holding various ingredients sat against the walls.

I grabbed a bucket of water and put it into the caldron. I picked up a bottle with a heart shaped quartz inside. I unscrewed the lid, taking out the quartz before dumping the multicolored gem flakes into the water. Next, I dropped in a tuft of heart of Cupid (pink cotton, cloud like thing). I added a few more things like honey, love's essence, etc.

I grabbed my stirring spoon. It was wooden with the scooping end covered in pure white, glazed dove feathers. I stirred the potion, the liquid turning into a deep purple.

I grabbed a few empty bottles from the cabinet and poured the potion into them, emptying the caldron. Then, I put them into the cabinet, locking it with the key dangling around my neck.

I made sure everything was in place and left the room.

However, I was unaware that a pair of anxious eyes watched me from the darkness as I left...
