It had been months since I'd last seen Lang. He was traveling around different parts of the world to catch criminals. I had stayed behind, focusing on my career. I wanted to become a dancer. But I didn't want to be just a dancer. I wanted to be a celebratory dancer. Those dancers planned out and danced in different performances during celebrations for law enforcement agents after a successful investigation.

Someway, somehow, I managed to become a celebratory dancer. Today, a celebratory dinner was being held for some returning law enforcement agents. One of them was Lang. So I put all my effort into choreographing the dance and picking the right song. I hadn't gotten the chance to tell Lang before he left, but I loved him.

I went over the dance with the rest of the group and we practiced for hours. Soon enough, the time for our performance came. The curtains closed and we went out on stage and got into position. The music started.

As we danced on the stage, I tried to look for Lang in the crowd of people. Eventually, I did. We locked eyes during the line 'All for you...Yeah all for you...' The beat of the music fueled the adrenaline pumping in my body. Then, it all started to calm down as we hit our ending poses. We bowed and hurried off the stage. I grabbed my water bottle out of my duffle bag, taking a few sips. I nearly jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I turned around to see Lang. I smiled, "Lang! It's been so long. How are you?" He looked at me, "Now that the investigation's closed up, I'm fine. But, what happened to you after I left?" I put my water bottle back into my bag, "I put all my focus into pursuing a career in dance and here I am. I couldn't just sit around and wait for you to come back." He smirked.

"Hm, it's just like you to think like an alpha. And act like one as well." I rolled my eyes, "I wouldn't take that much credit Lang. I'd say I'm probably more of just a smart omega." He tilted his head, "No. You're an alpha. Any omega can become one. All it takes...is the right mate." My eyes widened, "Are you saying what I think you're saying?" He nodded, "I am. I didn't get to tell you before I left. But, I love you." I smiled, "I love you too."

I continued, "By the way, I kind of, dedicated that dance to you." He looked at me, "You did?" I sighed, "Yeah. I looked for love in every stranger, but it all led back to you. It's cheesy, I know, but it's true." He nodded, "That was cheesy, but I expected that from you. Now, how about we go enjoy ourselves and enjoy the celebration?" I grasped his hand, "I'd love to Lang."

With that, we enjoyed the whirlwind of a party. We also enjoyed the company of each other after such a long period of time.
